CHAPTER 19
SEVEN RINGSMARCH 28, 2019
- UNDISCLOSED MOTELTHE pair of kidnapper grabbed jugs of water, pouring it over the face of Klaus, stopping him from breathing properly. He began to gargle and slightly choke on the water, preventing it from reaching it's place down his throat, the pair ceasing their actions when they saw that they were making no progress.
Marley watched on in shock, still in heaps of pain from what they had done to her hands and wrists. Her blood was beginning to pool at her feet, having run down the legs of the chair from where it escaped the wounds of her hands. The rag was removed from his face, Klaus trying to suck any moisture from it before the rag was out his reach.
"Ah!" Klaus sighed, grinning a bloody grin. "Oh, I needed that."
"Come on!" Hazel shouted, getting frustrated at the pair's lack of cooperation.
Marley chuckled at the situation but received a smack around the head from Hazel and a piece of lemon thrown at her hand, that seeped into her wounds and caused her to hiss in pain.
"So... parched." Klaus sighed again, staring off dreamily.
"You're so weird." Marley groaned, dropping her head back and staring at the ceiling.
"Thank you." Klaus laughed. "Thank you."
"Oh, God, this is brutal." Hazel complained as they turned around the corner to be out of ear's reach again.
"You doing okay?" Klaus whispered, turning to his sister.
"I'm fine." Marley whispers back with a smile, though Klaus could hear the pain behind her voice.
"No, you're not." Klaus groaned with an eye roll.
"I am. I just need to get out of these cuffs and I'll be able to get us out of here." Marley groaned as she tried to wriggle herself out of the cuffs.
"Hey!" Cha-Cha shouted as she came back into the room. "Don't make me cover you guys' mouths with tape again."
Both Marley and Klaus immediately closed their mouths, turning to face the wall once again and not dare look at each other. They both glanced at each other out of the corner of their eyes, giggling lightly at their situation.

Hazel and Cha-Cha resumed walking out of the bathroom, their masks covering their faces as they walked over to stand in front of where their delivery tube was.
