I find myself still sitting in the same position since Summer left when I hear a faint knock on the front door. Although I hear it, I don't react to it. They knock again, and again, and on the fourth knock my phone rings.

Glancing down at my phone that is discarded next to me on the couch, I spot Revons name flashing across the screen. I cut the call, silently cursing myself for not noticing the time and rush to answer the door, already knowing who stands behind it.

When I pull open the door, I open my mouth to apologise but nothing, but silence comes out as I take in the man before me. Just like the first time he turned up at my door, I'm rendered speechless.

Revon stands at his full height with his lip pulled between his teeth as he looks at me nervously. Tight black jeans hugging his legs, paired with a fitted dress dark blue shirt and a dark green knit blazer. A tartan pocket square matching the bow that ties at his neck. He looks me up and down just as I do to him, but he nervously glances at his phone as he starts to fidget with the end of his blazers sleeve.

"Um... I'm not early, am I?"

Shit, he looks beautiful.

"No, sorry, come in."

He passes through the door and looks around, hands still ringing together nervously. I don't realise I'm still standing there, probably gawking at him weirdly until he clears his throat.

"Uh, Babe?"

"Huh? Oh... Sorry... No, I'm not. You look breath-taking. I'm not sure I want to go out anymore. I don't want others to see you. This should be for my eyes alone."

He flushes red and groans as he covers his face with his hands. "Ugh! I knew it was too much! I told Mama no, but she insisted."

I flush myself at the mention of his mother but approach him to take his hands in mine, giving myself a clear view of his burning face.

"I was wondering where the baggy suits were going and how your style was becoming so much slicker. But trust me, Sweetheart, you look amazing." He gives me a sheepish smile and leans forward to give me a quick kiss on the lips.

"Thank you, I guess... Anyway, we won't be going anywhere if we don't get a move on unless you plan on going as you are..."

I look down at my own attire, taking in my baggy sweatpants and muscle top.

"Yeah, sorry, Summer was over, and I guess I lost track of time... Come on."

I lead him towards my room and go straight to my wardrobe. He stands back looking around the space with wide eyes.

"Your room is huge! I know I saw a bit of it the night I first stayed but, wow... and you weren't joking about the bed being able to fit at least 3!"

I chuckle at his awe and continue to look for something to wear when I spot the time on my watch. I've 20 minutes to get ready, so I quickly grab a clean pair of jeans and a long-sleeved maroon shirt with my leather jacket. Rushing into the ensuite, I quickly take a shower and get ready, not wanting Revon to wait any longer on my tardiness.

Once I accept the quickly thrown together outfit which is unsurprisingly my usual style, I make my way back out to Revon who I find sitting on my bed with a book in his hand. I take note of the time and make my way over to him, about to give him my hand for us to leave, but I pull up short when I notice that the book in his hand is actually an album. He looks up at me in alarm and sways the album in his hand slightly, debating what he should do with it.

"I... I'm sorry. I-it was on your dresser and I got curious. I shouldn't have been so nosy." His eyes start to water, and he continues to look up at me with a frightened look. I gently move to take the book from his grasp and he flinches slightly which has me more alarmed than finding him with the album. When he notices my intention, his head drops down and he raises the book for me to take.
