The venue where Quinn told us his show was taking place was buzzing. Not just with people, but with personality.

I watched the people waiting in the queue to enter with wandering eyes. Taking in the statement outfits that some wore or the more casual yet well put together styles that others chose. There was no one that didn't stand out.

"I didn't expect there to be so many people." Revon whispers from beside me. His body leaning into my side as I kept my arm securely around his shoulder. His wrapped around my waist.

My head nods in agreement as I can feel the anxiety building up inside of me. Both of us standing across the road, neither making a move to head over and join the hyped-up atmosphere.

Turning slightly, I look over my shoulder to try and grab Ledger's eye. Said man remains seated in his car while watching the crowd with focused eyes. "What's your plan?" I ask him, only to receive a quick glance in my direction before he returns to watching the crowd.

"I'll stay here for now. Watch who's going in. Depending on the circumstances, I may go inside. You won't see me but if you need me, ring." He shifts slightly in his seat and finally looks at the two of us with his full attention. "Now both of you grow a pair and go."

Revon instantly pouts at him but I just roll my eyes and take Revons hand in mine. The closer we get to the queue, the slower our steps become.

"Is Ignacio and Rodney meeting us inside?" His wide grey eyes dart to mine for a moment before drifting over the crowd we are slowly approaching again. "Quinn said to mention him whe-"

"What's up, Bitches." A voice call's from behind, interrupting Revon in the process.

I don't even bother to turn, rolling my eyes and guiding him to the back of the line.

"Summer! I thought you couldn't make it?" My Sweetheart asks, and I cast a quick glance in her direction to catch the 'sweet' smile she sends him.

Flicking her red hair behind her shoulder, she shrugs as though it's nothing while saying in a chirpy voice, "The meeting was rescheduled, so I thought I'd third wheel for the day with my wonderful brother-in-law and not-by-choice-wombmate."

A loud scoff escapes me and I cast a half-hearted glare her way. Though despite her dig towards me which is nothing new, a small smile threatens to break through my exterior as I see her smiling, happier than she seems to have been over the past few weeks. Along with this, Revons giggles causes me to crack and the smile seeps through.

All morning, the two had spent time together while Summer helped Revon find a style he looked good in along with feeling comfortable in it. Although this wasn't a huge event or outing, I could tell that he was getting more and more conscious of his attire from when we first met. He started off only wearing baggy suits and nothing that really fitted him, nor complimented his shape.

But now, Summer gave him a pair of jeans, tighter around the shins than it was around the thighs. A slightly baggy t-shirt that wasn't too large that it hid him. But more so complemented the curves and muscle that it caught onto. It was simple, yet it was Revon.

I find myself falling into a silent trance as I watch the two converse. Revon, his body leaning into my own as he listens to Summers rants with wide, yet happy eyes. The two had barely spoken much over the months that Revon and I had been together, him trying to be his best for my main family member. Yet, after their bonding session earlier, something seems to have clicked between them.

And I know this because of how Summer doesn't seem to put on a fake smile like she usually does. She doesn't seem to be acting sweet, trying to come across as this angelic human. No, instead it all seems genuine. Something that I rarely see in her anymore. Something I didn't even realise I missed.
