For some reason, I cried while writing this. I think I'm overly emotional with everything going on in the world lately. That, and I've realised how much I am like Jameson, that maybe I've partly based his character off of myself. Bit of a reality check for myself I think lmao!

Anyway, enjoy!!!

The rest of the week went quietly. There were no more surprise guests or random gatherings to attend. It was just Revon and me, being together and becoming closer with the time to ourselves.

The only difference was that Revon officially moved in with me. He had talked about going back to his home to get a few bits if he was to be staying a while longer, but when I suggested, once again, that he could move in with me, he agreed. Though, of course, he was hesitant to but once he realised I truly meant it, he was all for it. I'm sure the fact that we both confessed that we loved each other helped.

Over 3 days, we went to work on moving his items from his old home to his new one. But he also decided to leave furniture and other pieces he doesn't necessarily need there, as he didn't plan on selling or letting it out. That wasn't something he was ready to commit to, which I understood. It was his fathers' apartment, one where he has memories of him there. But its also a place he has memories with his ex, and ones that aren't as good, I'd imagine.

"Baby, Ellis just called me, he was asking if it would be ok to stop by later? He said he'd bring Indian!" Revon says as he walks into the kitchen where I've been making lunch for us. Looking up, my eyes meet his large ones full of hope. I know he's mentioning food because he has already figured me out. Food is my weakness.

"I guess, we've nothing else planned. Did he say what time?" I ask while packing our lunch away into containers.

"Wouldn't be until about 6, maybe later depending on when he gets to close the gallery."

"Then sure. But for now, go get dressed, we're going out for lunch." He eyes the containers confused, knowing what I had been doing in here.

"But you just made lunch?"

Smiling, I put the bits into a bag before approaching him. Once I'm a breath away, his arms wrap around my neck and he smiles back at me.

"I did and we'll be taking it with us. So, go get ready." Leaning forward, my lips meet his own and he returns the kiss happily.

As I wait for him to get ready, I sit at the kitchen table and pull out my phone. Nothing. Ever since Stefan left last week, there has been silence from his side. Sure, I didn't text or call him either but still. This is unlike him. He hasn't even contacted Revon.

My finger hovers over the send button, with a funny video of kittens attached, anything to try break some ice, but I quickly delete it and put my phone away.

"Has he contacted you?"

Looking up, I shake my head. Revon stands in the doorway, now dressed in casual attire apposed to his nightwear while fiddling with his phone.

"Same. I did text asking if he still wanted to do something this week, along with sending him a cute puppy video but nothing." I smile to myself at this, realising we both had the same thought. "Maybe this is good, something we need. I mean, if we were to confront him and ask him how he feels about... about us. We'd have to distance ourselves from him if he admitted it. Right? So, maybe this will help us get used to it."

His words make him sound sure of himself, but his voice and body language scream otherwise.

Sighing, I get up and grab the few bits I'd prepared. "Ya. Maybe it's for the best."
