Chapter 70 - Playing your game

"You sick bitch" she spat back at me mixed with blood, I had her down here for awhile after I found out she was one of the people involved with beating Jughead up I wasn't going to let it slide so I decided it be fit that she would be involved in my plan just like she was with Jughead.

"You picked the wrong side Adeline" I said to her as I hit her one more time, she had truly picked the wrong side and she knew what game she was playing when she knew her target was Jughead Jones, she knew she'd have to cross me if I found out and I was okay with that. She made her choose and this is where it had gotten her.

I took the next couple of hours to create what they had done to Jughead but I didn't leave her to almost death, I hit her and bruised her but never cut her or took a pound of her flesh mainly because of how nice she was to me in her past years and I did love her for that and this was revenge for what she had done to Jughead.

I had bruised her and gotten her blood all over her body, I had the pictures to show them later on. She wasn't the only Ghoulie I did this too, I had others hidden that I had done the same too but I had cut them with my knife for what they did. I hadn't cut pars off of them or even taken a pound of flesh but I gave them scars they'd remember for the next time they wanted to cross the serpents and I did the same, I took pictures of them to show to the meeting I knew would take place since I did have a friend in the ghoulie gang who gave me information about what they were doing.

I wasn't going to keep these people, I would let them go after this was over and they could consider themselves paid in full for their crimes against the Jones and the serpents, once I had all my pictures printed out I put them in a folder and kept it close to me for later on and left them all down stairs in the dark bleeding and suffering like they left Jughead.

I walked upstairs to see Toni and everyone crowded round Jughead who was telling us it wasn't safe here and we had to go, I was very confused until he told us that Hiram was doing a raid on the Wyrm with the sheriff and we had to be gone with whatever we could carry which I looked around to see everyone panicking.

"We've been offered a place in the Northside for now" he said and I saw everyone become a mix of emotions, I got up beside my brother and I began to speak.

"We are serpents yes, we are the southside! It's a place that lives on with us and we don't need a bar to keep it alive! We need the people. We will survive and live becuase that's what we do, we can find somewhere new to call our own after but right now our safety is our biggest priority" I said to them all watching as they looked around and nodded, I got down and helped the younger serpents pack and get their things ready to leave.

I had spent most of day collecting my present for the new owners of then Wyrm when I came to gate crash their meeting but the pictures weren't the only thing I was going to do or show them. No I would get my revenge on one of them right there and then to prove my point even more.

We all checked if people were ready and began our move from the southside to the north which was harder than everyone thought with this many people, I watched as they ran and I stayed at the back to make sure everyone was okay as we crossed over. I grabbed a hand of someone I saw to be Sweetpea as he pulled me along into the night and towards the Northside where when we crossed we all couldn't help but look back at the place we called home and i sighed, it wasn't my home for long but it felt so right.

Sweetpea tugged me towards Fred Andrews house were my bike was already parked from people before, people came a different times and we gave them our bikes to get here faster and better less suspicious than all of us coming in the night like everyone had thought.

Fred started on the sleeping arrangements and he told me and Sweetpea we were together but this is when I was going to take my leave and come back.

"I need some air, I'll be back okay?" I said to Jughead who nodded as he sorted out the other serpents and I grabbed my folder and walked out of the house and walked back towards the southside in my leather jacket and black outfit with combat boots. I walked over the divide to see the police cars pulling away but I knew the sherif was likely to be in there but this was something he wouldn't want to be caught in.

I snuk in through the front door and listened for awhile.

"The plan stays the same, the prison will soon be up and operational, with your drugs running through it Claudius. Malachai and his Ghoulies will be our foot soldiers and dealers with miss Peabody troubleshooting and hopefully doing a better job then she did of killing Jughead Jones" he said

"He wasn't breathing when we left" Penny said as I walked in and coughed to gain their attention and saw all of their faces become ones of fear.

" I don't doubt that Penny although you were never good at finishing off a job. Sheriff id sit down if I were you, I videoed this with audio people will know your involved if you open your little mouth got it?" I said as I walked closer with a smirk on my face and looked towards Malachai and Penny. " I'm here to finish the debt that is owed" I said looking towards them.

"What debt?, we have no debt with you?" Malachai said in confusion and anger that I was here when I threw the folder on the table and they started looking through the images as I leaned against the wall.

"You'll get them back and they'll be alive, but they won't be the same Malachai. Now I gave you a warning which you choose to ignore and that was so stupid of you, I told you that you were dealing with a snake and one that was mad. A venomous snake and your next move was still stupid" I said as they reached the pictures of Adeline and I smirked some more.

"She was like your sister" He said as he looked up at me and I smirked so more at his voice drop and his fear increase.

"She picked a side and knew the consequences of her actions when she touched my family, so I'm here to make the warning seem more clear so we're on the same page" I said as I moved closer to them all even Hiram was sat down as he looked at the pictures. "If my warning the first two times wasn't enough, and this then maybe this will keep you in line" I said as I grabbed Claudius's hand and sent my knife through it and into the table before pulling out another and doing it again.

"Don't play with fire Penny and Malachai don't mess with a poisonous snake, this one is very venomous. Maybe you'll take my warnings more seriously now? Maybe not but if I were you I wouldn't want to see what else I was capable of. Good luck sheriff because I have you linked to all of this with evidence so keep your mouth shut like a good little boy" I said as I walked out picking back up the folder with all the pictures of the Ghoulies in, something I would use to remind them if they stepped out of line again.
