Chapter 50 - Creep

I woke up with chic looming over me and I jumped, he scared me and he carried on staring at me and I raised a brow, what the hell is this kids problem.

"Hi?" I asked more than said, it was worried about the fact I had woken up with a stranger staring at me while I slept because that wasn't weird at all.

"Your a peaceful sleeper" he said simply as if that didn't sound creepy, I curled up in the corner of the sofa and he sat down at the other end while I grabbed my phone. 4:30, why the hell is he down here at 4:30!

"Um thanks? I mean it's pretty creepy that you watched me sleep" I said with a small laugh, getting ready to type SOS to the first person in my contacts.

"Oh, sorry I just came down here and you were there" he said as if that made the situation any better.

"Oh okay." I said as I got up and walked into the kitchen with the blanket laid across my shoulders keeping me warm, this kid was a serious wack job. I grabbed a hot chocolate before sitting down again.

"You didn't want me to go through your stuff, why is that?" He asked as if it wasn't obvious already.

"Well that would be pretty weird if you went through my stuff" I said in the most bored tone I could gather to prove just how obvious it was, did he lack something? Was he hit/drop on the head?

"Of course" he said as he turned and walked back up the stairs to Polly's room, I grabbed my clothes for the day and sighed, there was no way in hell I was gonna get back to sleep now. I put my clothes on, I had decided on a black tank top and black ripped jeans. I picked up my phone and hoped for someone to be awake. Although I doubted it.

LORNA TO TONI: Hopefully my dad will stop being so stupid but until then, days go as normal.

LORNA TO SWEETPEA: You awake?

I knew fangs wouldn't be awake since he could sleep for twelve straight hours if he wanted too but I remember Sweetpea telling me in our game of 20 questions that he had trouble sleeping most nights.

SWEETPEA: Why in the hell are you awake?

LORNA: long story, ill explain over hot chocolate?

SWEETPEA: Come to my trailer then, I'll unlock the door just walk in.

I smiled and picked up my things before opening the front door and closing it again, I put on my helmet and made my way over to the southside of town, I pulled into Sunnyside and parked outside Sweetpeas trailer. I pulled down my kickstand and got off my bike before walking in to see a half naked Sweetpea at the table.

I felt my cheeks heat up something chronic and I looked away while I heard him chuckle.

"Come on? This can't be the first time you've seen a half naked guy? You must have them falling at your feet" he said with a laugh, he still sat at the table and made no effort to move or even cover himself up.

"No they don't, or at least I don't think they do" I said as I sat down and tried to contain my blush, which I knew didn't work. He looked amazing. Body of a god, i said I'd contain this and get closer to my family and that I'll tell him once I feel like it's a good time but he was making that very difficult.

"How come your awake then?" He questioned as he got up to make hot chocolate and grab food.

"I caught chic watching me sleep" I said as my skin crawled and I felt shivers go down my spine, it was all kinds of creepy.

"Chic? Betty's brother?" He asked before sitting back down again and handing me food, I simply nodded in return. "Wow that's creepy" he said while looking at me and I nodded, it was all kinds of creepy. "Hey is that your broken collarbone?" He said pointing to my right collarbone, I was surprised he remembered.

"Yeah it is, you can tell only a little though Becuase there's a dip in it, right here" I said pointing to the broken point where it had been spilt in two.

"How'd they break it?" He asked while sipping his coffee and handing me a Hot chocolate.

"Baseball bat" I said with a shrug and his eyes widen like a deer in headlights.

"A fricken baseball bat? Wow that's hard core" he said while looking at me with that look I so hated, Pity.

"No biggy" I said with a shrug as I looked at my hot chocolate. He moved closer to me and grabbed my hand and gave me a small smile, one that made me feel reassured and safe, he looked at me and I smiled more. I watched his eyes flicker between my lips and my eyes which made me blush even more, his lips were a pale pink and they looked awfully smooth. They seemed to be perfect to the human eye and they seemed to draw me in closer and closer. Before I knew it he was inches away from my face and his hand had found its way onto my check, I looked at him and I felt his breath hit my face like a fan; so gentle yet so rough. I looked into his eyes, they were like liquid chocolate they seemed so perfect and captivating. I leaned into him more not even realising as he leaned closer and out lips were centimetres away from each other and I smiled gently and I felt him smile before his lips were about to connect with mine and I looked down to them in there perfect pink form and I smiled, I moved in closer and just as they touched and Toni came through the door.

"Sweetpea! I need sugar I'm all ou-" She said before stopping as she saw us so close and she erupted into a smile and glee. Oh no.
