TRACYS POV

'She's going to love it, thank you so much' I say as her foster mother comes back I apologise and run through the mall looking for Opal

The poor girl, as if she hasn't been through enough, that must've been so hard for her

'OPAL!!' I shout desperately but she's nowhere to be seen

I pull out my phone and call her but it goes straight to voicemail

'Opal please! Please call me when you get this' I say

OPALS POV

I'm gonna miss her so much, but I know it was the right thing to do

I get a call from Tracy and immediately hang up. I'm not going back.

'Opal!!' I hear someone shout behind me

I turn round expecting to see Dani but it's Tracy

'Opal please come home' she says

'Just leave me alone' I say sadly before walking away

'I'm not giving up on you' She says

I turn round and look at her, she gives me a weak smile and I run into her arms

'It's okay...it's gonna be okay shh calm down' she whispers as I cry deeply into her arms, feeling stupid for doing it in public

'Come on let's go home' she says putting her arm round me as we walk back through the mall I feel a million eyes on me

Yet nobody's looking at me...

Tracy stays by my side the whole time, making sure I'm okay

We get back to the car and I see Dani's foster mum she gives me a furious look to which I just try not to cry

'Ignore her' Tracy says giving her a glare as we get in the car and go back home

I stare out the window the whole time just trying to stop my brain going into overdrive

Tracy reaches her hand over to me and strokes through my hair

'Opal I'm so sorry' she says

'You weren't to know' I say

'Still, I should've done something' she says

'Look Tracy it's done okay. Stop blaming yourself!' I say, raising my voice

She falls silent pulling her hand away, I can see tears brimming in her eyes

'I'm sorry, I just want to forget today ever happened' I say, sadly

'I understand' she says quietly and we drive back in silence

I love her so much, and now I'd never see her again.

We pull up at The Dumping Ground and I walk in everyone stops and looks at me giving me a smile

'Hey opal, did you have a nice time?' Mike asks me

I just hang my head and run upstairs, not wanting to talk to anyone

I look at the letter Dani sent me, reading it over and over, my vision going blurry and my heart beating ten to the dozen

I'm really not in the mood for another panic attack at all.

I lay down and close my eyes attempting to keep the image of me and Dani in my head but it kept on getting tainted by me having to let her go

'Go away!' I shout as someone knocks the door

'It's me' Lily says

I let her in and she perches on the end of my bed
