PARKER
Today I was NOT looking forward to as one of my best assistants I have had ever was leaving and I had to do one of the least favorite things I like doing....Interviews.
However, then again, I am very picky at who my assistants are. So in a way, it's my own fault.
I was drinking coffee while flipping through some channels to see how stocks were going with our company and of course the news, while standing behind the counter in the kitchen.
Then the girl that I have come over every now and then to fuck, comes walking out with her the same short and tight dress she wore last night.
I hate it when they stay over when I always tell them to leave.
"Good morning." She says.
I continue to ignore her and try to finish my coffee.
"You're not even going to say good morning?" She asks frustrated.
"Why should I when you're not even supposed to be here." I snap at her as I drink the last of my coffee.
"Ugh. You're such an asshole." She says.
"Yep. Yet you still keep coming back." I tell her and then grab my keys to my all black 2019 Lincoln and head out the door. Although before I leave, I yell back at her. "Don't forget to lock up before you leave." Then I head out.
The minute I turned on my car I am instantly hit with some remixes of some techno music and head off to work.
The moment I get there I am greeted by the annoying receptionist that I would love to replace but haven't done so yet.
I say hi to everyone I walk by and then am greeted by my assistant that's leaving soon who reminds me about the interviews. Of course, it looks like a lot of these young girls are here dressed more like an assistance for a porno. This one girl I could tell was trying way too hard had on fake glasses. That right away made me think that this would all be quick.
That was until I saw the most beautiful woman in one of the seats who I decided I would interview last. Then when it came to her turn after I sent the rest of the bimbos away, I answered a call from my father and made myself comfortable. We of course argues some and then as soon as I heard the door open I hung up and turned my chair and there she was.
She's beautiful. Drake was right, maybe I wouldn't regret this. Besides, hiring her would definitely make people think differently about me on who I hire and could become the start of a new turn around for this place. But why is she just standing there?
"Are you here for an interview or what?" I ask although I didn't mean for it to come out so harsh but that's just how I'm used to talking.
I notice her looking at me before walking towards me and hands me her resume.
"H-here." She nervously clears her throat. "Here's my resume." She says while handing me the paper and next holds out her hand to be professional I'm assuming and shake it. But I don't ever feel the need for that.
"No need for that." I state as I continue looking at her resume skimming it.
She looks around the office nervously and seems to look worried.
Suddenly I hear her begin to cough a little. At first she started off coughing a little bit and then it continues and since she wasn't asking or grabbing for anything, I let out a breath and called in my assistant to bring in some water.
"Dorothea, can you please bring in some water."
She comes walking in and hands the glass to her.
"Are you alright?" She asks her.
"I'm fine. Thank you." Ally tells her as she takes the water and begins to drink it.
I can tell she was really nervous and even though she's my good friend and best employee, Drake's sister, I still could tell that maybe she would work out and I should give her a shot.
"Alright Ally. A few things you need to know and understand before accepting this job and I'm sure that you've already googled about me. Not everything on there is true except for how I run things. I'm sure that you've heard things from your brother about me as well but I always find it best to tell you up front and so you hear it from me that I am difficult to work with and can be very demanding most of the time. I expect certain things and when they are not done to my satisfaction, depending how bad it is, they don't get another chance and instead get fired right away." I tell her.
"Okay." She answers.
"Okay? Is that it?" I look at her curiously with a cocked eyebrow.
"I understand." She half smiles.
"Good." I tell her as I eye her up and down again.
I badly wanted to take her and bend her over my desk right then and there but I can't. I can't think of her that way.
She does happen to be the most qualified out of all the applicants and would do better for the company maybe, especially with bringing a new 'type of look' we'll say.
I hadn't realized we were sharing an awkward moment of silence between each other until I heard her say my name.
"Mr. Upton?" I hear her sweet sexy soft voice say.
I clear my throat and shake dirty thoughts out of my head before answering.
"Yeah. Uh, congratulations, you start tomorrow at eight in the morning and my assistant out there will help give you everything you need to know and the tour around here. I also will be sending you an email about information you need to know and what to expect the day after tomorrow since that will be your first day and we'll see just how good you really are." I tell her.
"Are you saying I got the job?" She asks surprised.
"Yeah. Don't be late. You can go now." I tell her while turning to my laptop and I start reading some email's.
"Thank you so much. You won't regret it Mr. Upton." She smiles and damnit her smile is gonna be the death of me.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
