ALLY
It's hurting me to sit here in the hospital room holding Parker's hand as he's hooked up to an IV and all these different machines.
He has been sleeping mostly since the incident at the bank when his father shot him a couple days ago and has been recovering really good.
The bullet apparently just missed his shoulder blade by a few centimeters as it just penetrated through his skin and came out through the back.
I get so happy for the couple of minutes I see him awake before he falls asleep again from the pain medication and can't wait until he becomes fully awake so I can talk with him and he is more coherent.
I haven't left his side since the day he got here.
A few days ago when everything went down, a few minutes after they all left to go to the bank, our door was busted down and in walked a bunch of guys with guns drawn and jackets and shirts that both read FBI and the guys that were left to keep an eye on us, ended up being knocked down and handcuffed by the agents while several came over towards Drake and I to untie us and explained everything about how the manager Parker and his dad were meeting was an agent and has been trying to take down Parker's dad and his 'friends' for a few years now.
They have been taking part in a lot of fraud and money embezzlement apparently and even made deals with the mafia.
Apparently also, Cam was bailed out of prison by Stan and have been discussing this idea of getting money from Parker for the past couple of years.
Now that all of that is over and the news crew has come and gone, not without asking me about mine and his relationship first of course, things could hopefully begin to get back to normal.
Well, at least a little bit as I am still waiting for him to be fully alert and awake.
Lola, Drake and Abbie were all at Parkers place to sleep and have come in and out the whole time and I promised I would call them if he woke up and stayed awake longer than a few minutes at least.
It was around midnight that I began dozing off, when I felt my phone vibrate and saw my doctor's name. I took in a deep breath and let it out before answering. It was my test results.
"Hi, sorry to be calling you so late. I was wondering, have you thought about what we discussed in your appointment with me and the possible treatment in Arizona?" He asks.
I've been so caught up in the drama here that I forgot about my issue.
"I did." I reply quietly.
"I am so sorry that it grew back bigger. We had thought we got everything. But I want you to know that you have a good fighting chance at beating this for good. It will for sure require chemo therapy again and the possibility of removing your breast and the side effects as you already know from the therapy. Of course the choice is yours but, I believe that this is the only way we can ensure it won't return again." He states.
"But what if it doesn't work? What if I go through the pain, the vomiting, sweats, sensitivity to things, my hair falling out and not to mention me losing one of my breasts. I'm all about getting better but, you and I both know that there's just the same amount of chance of me not surviving it again." I start to cry as I'm standing outside Parker's hospital room while trying to think about me and what I need to do for myself right now.
I think about it though long and hard and then finally decide that if I were to ever have any future with Parker or a life in general, I would have to risk in doing this. Besides, the doctor after all has stated he feels more confident in this time around with the treatment being more intense than the last one.
