ALLY
It has now been a good few weeks that both Parker and I have been dating and we both soon realized that it would be best to go ahead and not try and hide anything.
Parker explained to me before we decided to give 'us' a try about how it could be with people snapping pictures and writing gossip most of the time. Which I was willing to accept to a degree of course. For example, in the office, I had expected them to react the way they have been with all the glares and whispers and rumors they have started to spread but of course there are still some of those people who have chosen to ignore their immature bullshit just like me, Parker and Drake have done also.
Which speaking of Drake, he has gotten a little better with not overreacting as much like he did in the beginning when Parker and I told him we were dating.
Also, I made it clear to Parker that I don't want special treatment or anything. He admitted it would be hard to do that but then understood.
Well somewhat, meaning he still flirts with me without trying to hide it as well as send me certain texts and messages on IM on the computer throughout the day.
Today, after returning back from lunch though, we walked into his office, hoping to look over the pictures that were taken of me and think up of some things to approach Drake in about proceeding with his ideas in giving the company a new look.
Suddenly he stops and I can see his face start to tense up while his hand that is still holding mine is tightened a little as we walk into his office and see an older gentleman who has slicked back grey and black hair, along with a nice suit and tanned skin who had the same nose and jawline as Parker. I knew exactly in who it was for sure after Parker said something.
"What the hell are you doing here, dad?" He greets the man through gritted teeth.
The man gets up and turns to see us both. Although he smirks at Parker, he looks me up and down and I can already tell that he doesn't like or approve of me.
"Well hello to you too." He replies back to Parker.
"Ally, please finish up those emails." I hear Parker tell me as he continues to scowl at his dad.
"Okay." I replied and started to leave, closing the door behind me.
When I sat down at my desk, I started wondering about the energy I got from in that room-hostile, was the first word that came to my mind to describe it.
I wonder how they got to that point in their relationship.
I tried not to think about it and began to get back to work by starting in on those email's he needed me to do.
I ended up working on them and was about to finish with the final one when I heard the office door open up and his father walked out while buttoning his suit jacket and as he walked past me to head towards the elevator, he winked at me. Which instantly made me feel uncomfortable.
I then next looked over at Parker's office and got up to start making my way over there.
I first knocked and when he didn't answer, I don't know why that made me think it was okay to come in but I was really worried about him.
"Parker?" I asked as I slowly walked inside and saw him pissed off as he was slamming a few folders onto his desk and as I looked around on the floor, I noticed my pictures from the photo shoot along with some other papers were scattered all over the floor.
"I swear to god I hate that guy!" I hear him say out loud to himself as he seemed to still not realize I was here as he glared out the window, watching his father leave.
"Parker?" I asked again.
He turned and looked at me and his face began to soften a little but not a lot.
"I'm sorry." He says.
"For what? You didn't do anything." I tell him as I walk up beside him and place my hand onto his back and start to try and comfort him by rubbing his back a little bit.
"My dad is a real piece of work." He begins.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" I offer.
"No. It's a pathetic story." He says.
"Well, I'm here if you want to talk." I assure him.
He turns and smiles at me and then holds my face as he leans in and gives me a long and passionate kiss. Then pulls back a little before placing his forehead against mine as I wrap my arms around him and we stand there like that for a few moments.
We ended up leaving the office early that day and went back to his place.
I'm not exactly sure in why he is acting different and so upset but, I hope everything will be okay.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
