PARKER

Before arriving at Drake's Condo, we had stopped my place to grab a couple of guns that I had for emergencies. I bought them as soon as I turned eighteen. My father and his 'friends' always scared me and plus, it's good protection.

When we arrived in front of the door, we didn't hesitate because there was no time to waste. So without knocking we quickly opened the door.

We were about to reach for our guns after we looked over on the couch and saw Ally sitting down with her wrists zip tied together in front and her ankles duct taped together.

Before me and Drake were able to grab our guns my dad stopped us by having him, Stan and everyone else pull their guns also and point them at us.

"Cam." I hear Drake seethe under his breath.

When I looked over and saw him, I noticed he had a cloth on his mouth that seemed to be soaked with blood and right away I figured it was Ally.

"Now son, I know you want nothing more than to kill all of us. But you're out numbered and I am willing go negotiate." My father begins.

"What? The company? You want it back? You can have it. I never wanted it anyways." I tell him.

"Nope. I could care less about that company. Besides, you're mother had ruined it after the first few years, putting her suggestions into it causing me to almost going out of business. That's why I had to hurry and get money to keep afloat but, I knew my company was going to shit and I knew also that you would help with that. You and your mother were always good at that." He smirks.

"You're such a bastard!" I scowl at him.

"Well, I'll give you that, cause I am. However, I have recently discovered something, your mother left all her family's inheritance and fortune to you." He says.

I'm confused, my mother was never rich. In fact, she said that her parents never wanted to see her again and I never even got the chance to meet her side because she told me they were all dead.

"What inheritance? She wasn't rich and I know she couldn't leave things like that in my name without your consent since it would be your money." I point out to him.

"Oh god. You really are naive. Parker your mother came from a rich background I didn't. In fact, when her and I met I only had twenty dollars to my name and was working as a salesman at a shoe store." He states.

"But I met grandma and grandpa, your parents and they have always been rich." I tell him still confused.

"No. Sorry son but they were more like acquaintances that were nice enough to pretend for us." He says. "Now we can sit here all night and go over how your life and everything you knew has been a lie, but I plane to catch. So, let's get down to it." He says firmly.

He first has his men pat me and Drake down and take our guns before next having them tie us up like they did with Ally and then pushed us onto the couch beside her while he remained seated in his chair, staring at us.

I looked at Ally with an apologetic look and an 'I love you.' Before looking back at my dad.

"What do you need me to sign?" I ask him.

"I'm afraid it's not that easy. Your mother had conditions. You had to walk in the bank personally and I too, then we would sign and they would give us the key to the boxes on the banks vault. So that is what we're going to do." He says.

"The bank is already closed." I tell him.

"Not for people like us. Especially for the infamous Parker Upton and his father." He grins. "The manager is waiting for us."
