Mi nam's POV

My heart feels heavy because of what happened last night. I know I've had othe fights with Jungkook but this was the worst.

The sun was shining and I can see it from my window. Hoseok oppa was on the couch. I guess Seongwoo has left when oppa came back.

My phone was just on the table near me so I took it. I was hoping that Jungkook would call or send me a message. But no. I got none.

Hoseok: How are you feeling, Mi Nam?

I: Oh, oppa. I'm fine.

Hoseok: You never had to lie to me. I knew what happened.

I: Seongwoo told you?

Hoseok: I'm glad he did.

I: Oppa are you mad at Jungkook?

Hoseok: Yes. He was the one who was supposed to be here. And not Seongwoo. Thank the heavens you got a friend like Ong.

I: But oppa, Jungkook is--

Hoseok: Now what? You'll still defend him? No matter how you look at it, Jungkook takes you for granted. And why? Because whenever he has done something wrong, you were always there to forgive him. That's why he became complacent.

What he said was right. I always end up forgiving Jungkook.

There were other lab tests done. And I still have to wait for one day for the result. My wound is still painful. I can feel it whenever I move.

My parents who are at Gwangju knew about the surgery. And since they cannot go to Seoul, Hoseok oppa does everything to take care of me.

Oppa has literally spent the day at the hospital. He just came home by 5pm to take a bath and go to his work.

Eunji came to stay with me. She said she was so worried that she took a 2-day leave just to be with me.

Eunji: Where's Jungkook?

I: I don't know.

Eunji: You don't know?

I really hate that it has to be the topic. I lost control of my emotions that I cried infront of Eunji.

Eunji: You know that I hate seeing you cry

I: I can't help it, Eunji.

Eunji: What happened?

I: I saw Jungkook last night. He's here in thE hospital.

Eunji: Then he didn't visited you?

I: He was with Eunha.

Eunji: Eunha? His bestfriend? The one you told me about?

I: Yes.

Eunji: Oh, then what excuse did Jungkook gave this time?

I: He said Eunha needed him since his equipment fell on her and left wounds.

Eunji: Duh?! And you, don't you need him.

I: He was mad that Seongwoo was with me.

Eunji: He must thank Seongwoo. If not for him, maybe you're terribly ill if your appendix had ruptured.

I: I told him to settle his priorities first.

Eunji: That'd be better. Stop crying. It's not your fault, not even your loss.

Eunji sat beside me on my bed and gave me a hug.

Eunji: I thought everything would be okay.

I: Thought so too.

Eunji: We'll be here for you.

I: I know. Thank you.

Eunji: I forgot to tell you, Ong is coming.

I: He should.

Eunji: I guess he's on the way now. Can you still wait for him? He's bringing dinner, for us. Or are you hungry?

I: I can still wait.

Eunji: Arasseo. Any juice drink that you want?

I pointed at the fridge. Eunji opened it and saw bottles of pomegrante juice.

Eunji: Hoseok oppa bought these?

I: Ani. Seongwoo.

Eunji: Jinjja? Is he a supplier of these?

I: Hahaha. That's his favorite, he said.

Eunji was laughing because she finds it cute that Seongwoo has bought bottles of it. She took one and tasted it.

Eunji: I understand why it's his favorite. It tastes good!

The door opened and then came Seongwoo.

Eunji: Ong~

Seongwoo: Good evening to the both of you. Let's eat.

They've set up the table near my bed and they both gave me food.

Eunji: Wow! Delicious! Thanks, Ong.

Seongwoo: Just for the both of you.

I was busy eating while watching them both. It was just like how we used to be when we were in Paris.

Without my knowing, tears fell from my eyes.

Eunji: Ya, Mi Nam.

Seongwoo: What's wrong?

I was nearly sobbing. I cannot explain how I feel. All I know is that I really wanted to cry.

Seongwoo: Hey, I know you're not okay.

I: I just miss those days when were in Paris.

Eunji: I miss those days when you still haven't met Jungkook.

Seongwoo: Eunji, that won't help her. Go on Mi Nam. Let it out. But once you get tired of crying, make sure you won't cry for the same reason again.

Should I feel thankful for these friends? Or should I still wait for Jungkook to come even if I know it's impossible?
