Awake

My body jolts awake, my breathing is heavy and I'm covered in sweat. I look around to see where I am hoping someone was with me.
Posters on the wall... mess everywhere.. random paint stored untidily in a corner..
I'm in Larry's room.. I stumble onto my feet, trying to find my balance, once I do so I look around hoping to find anyone.. god how long was I asleep for? I make my way into the kitchen first, I look up at the clock on the wall as I pass it. 2:27am
"Hey Sal.. have a good sleep?"
I saw my tall friend making what appeared to be some random snacks mixed together in a bowl like trail mix, he was clearly tied because his dark circles under his eyes could be seen more clearly, he probably stayed up and watched me sleeping.
"Hey Lar-" I wrap my smaller arms around him, pulling him into a hug "-what happened while I was out?"
Larry gave me a soft smile and patted me on the head.
"Well.. At around the end of the movie Todd and Neil started to make out so me and Ash decided it would be best to leave the two love birds to do their thing, you were out cold so I took it upon myself to carry you all the way back here after saying my goodbyes to Ash. I set you down on my bed and sat next to you hoping you'd wake up, after an hour I thought it would be best to let you sleep so I went into the living room for a while, once it came around one in the morning I decided to check on you again, you were moving around quite a bit like you were having one hell of a dream so I stayed by your side again until you calmed down a bit."
I smiled at the fact he went out of his way to take me down here and stay by my side while I was asleep, I looked up at my tall friend and took my prosthetic off reviling my smile to him. After everything at the lake I feel comfortable with letting Larry see me without the mask and he seemed to enjoy seeing my face, he put on a big grin with a slight blush every time he saw me like this. God I'm so lucky I have him.

We spend the rest of the night watching movies in the living room until 4am then deciding it would be best to get some sleep. I don't know if Larry feels the same way that I do but I know for a fact I love him..
