I waited patiently on my porch l for Jonah to pick me up. It was going to eve our first official date. After meeting him at the coffee shop, and exchanging numbers, we had a few more coffee shop hangouts but not  what we considered actual dates.

Jonah had decided to not tell me any details other than to wear a bathing suit and clothes on top. I put on a cute y/f/c bikini that showed off what I did have, and a tang top with shorts over it.

I played on my phone waiting for Jonah, who said he was about to be here, for a solid 7 minutes before he actually arrived in a pickup truck.

He parked in the driveway and got out with a big smile holding some tea. I walked over and greeted him with a hug.

"I got you some tea, even though I will one day get you to like coffee, and there are some snacks in the car for our small road trip," Jonah smiled excitedly.

"Road trip? How long is the drive?" I question.

"Only and hour or two but I figured snacks will help," he shrugged.

...
After screaming to Arianna Grandes new album and some more bops, we had finally arrived at the small but very pretty beach.

"Come on!" Jonah yelled while throwing off his shirt and shoes before running towards the taunting ocean.

I quickly stripped to my bathing suit and ran after the crazy boy. He grabbed my hand as we met And slowly walked deeper and deeper.

After some splashing and relaxing, Jonah grabbed the cooler and a picnic blanket. We found a cozy, mostly private area and got set up for our picnic.

...
"I'm stuffed," I told Jonah while laying on the blanket.

"Let's go to the back of the truck, I set something up," Jonah grinned.

We packed the cooler, folded the blankets, then went back up to the truck. Jonah drove to the very end of the beach before driving into the sand.

We both went to the bed of the truck where he had set up bean bags and blankets along with some more snacks.

"You did all this for me?" I exclaimed.

"Well my buddy Corbyn loves space and always makes me sit on the roof when we get writers block and look at the stars. It always calms me down and it's really pretty so I wanted to share it with you," Jonah explained.

"I love it," I smiled at him before hopping onto the truck.

Jonah followed and we cuddled together on the beanbags while looking up at the stars.
