It's been a week since the skate park. Me and jack have texted here and there, getting to know each other a teensy bit. Jack texted me again making a smile creep onto my face.

I threw on some music and started to get ready since I only had an hour. I did my hair, some light makeup, and narrowed my outfits down to two choices.

Once I picked, I quickly got dressed and waited for Jack to get me. I watched out the window until an Uber parked and Jack came out holding some flowers. I waited until he knocked before swinging the door open.

"Woah you look gorgeous," Jack immediately complimented.

"You clean up nice too," I smile while gesturing for him to come in

"Is this house all yours?" He asked while looking around.

"I wish! My aunt is well, rich so she pays the rent and I pay for the bills and stuff like that. She never comes to LA anymore because she just had a baby so it's pretty much mine," I explain.

"As much as I would like to stay, we have an Uber and dinner reservations waiting for us."

"Great I'll put these flowers in some water and we can go!"

...
"I'm sorry sir, there must have been a mistake. We are packed and the next opening is next week, I'm sorry," the manager explained.

"I called today to make reservations and was told that somebody just cancelled. My four best friends heard one of your staff members confirm my reservation for tonight." Jack argued.

"And I'm sorry but things must have gotten mixed up! There is nothing we can do but apologize and put you in for the next reservation. Your main course will be on us of course," she tried to reason.

"No, we will not be coming back since it might just get messed up again. Come, let's go," Jack angrily replied.

I followed him out of the restaurant into the pouring rain.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Jack exclaimed.

We ran under a balcony and Jack took a deep sigh.

"Look I'm so sorry about all of this, I promise you that I called," Jack sighed.

"It's alright! Do you wanna just come back to my house? We can order some pizza and watch Netflix?" I suggested.

"I think you're perfect," he smiled.
