Chapter 12

I slip on the small bag that I picked out. It carries all the things we'll need for the spell I need to do. I text my brother that I'll be home late or not at all tonight. I set the small bag in my lap as I get into Ace's car. I look at ace who picked up everyone. Rei is sitting next to Yū holding hands as Peter is stuck looking out the window. I'm in front with Ace.

"what's on the bag?"

I look at Ace before I could answer I hear peter.

"better not say a bunny"

I chuckle since I didn't think he would bring it up again.

"it's not a bunny Pete and its everything well need for the spell tonight."

"oh ya...peter told us about what happen even Rei was surprised."

Yū looks at me.

"I can't believe you read one letter about your dead mom and then pass out just to talk to her."

"she used a spell on me Yū. Well I did it to myself since I said it out loud. She wanted it to happened. It was like a prerecorded message. She said she left them everywhere and wants me to find them all. She said with every new one ill learn more."

"what it's a trap?"

I hear Rei speak.

"I just have to trust my mother right now Rei."

After I said that we arrive at school. I send them all a quick message.

"this is where we'll be going after school."

I notice peters look.

"what Pete?"

"why in the middle of the woods?"

"it's better if no one sees us and that's where the map I found in the book leads for the spell. I'll show you on the way there."

"guys class is about to start! Let's go!"

I was Ace run after making his statement. I head in and go through the usual class then lunch back to class and once school is over I meet them all in the club room.

"we can leave our things in here. I have a key to let us back into the school and the room so they'll be safe."

Peter says as he puts down his book bag. He grabs a small bag and it seems everyone but Ace had brought a bag in case we spend the night somewhere. Probably a cave. Oh what fun.

"let's go. Till be easier to find the place when we still have day light."

I head out with them following. We stop to let peter lock the room door then we had out going to Ace's car. It's about a thirty-minute drive so on the way there I start on the spell. I mix things together and make a beautiful blueish liquid. I put it in a vile.

"that's a lot.... you're going to drink it all?"

I laugh and shake my head.

"nope! We're going to drink it all!"

I laugh more hearing them protest and I look at them.

"hey you all wanted to come with. Now you gotta join in."

I smirk and I add a little something else to it.

"why did you put a catiplier in it!?"

"adds flavor. Now it should taste how you it to."

I look at the spell and say it a few times to myself. My necklace glowing.

"is that wise to do?"

I look at Yū.

"I need to make sure I get it right. If I do it wrong it could kill us. Well that's what it said in the book anyway"

I keep say it over and over till we get there and I look up.

"follow me."

I get out first with the others and we walk into the forest. I walk in as if I know right where I'm going. We stand at a big rock in the middle of a clearing. I get the thing of salt out I have I start making the symbol I need for the spell. I then look at them.

"everyone stands at a point"

Theres five points. One they're standing on a point I hand them a small vile of the liquid I made. I go back to my point and I look at them.

"ready?"

"Yes!"

Ace yells.

"I guess..."

Peter sounds unsure.

"just get it over with"

Yū is just being Yū.

"yes"

A small answer from Rei.

I smile and I look at the book one last time.

"pro illis qui volunt videre verum quod est ignotum potum"

I look at them.

"drink!"

We all drink our '[ and the symbol starts to glow. I look at them as the light shines and it shows each of them where a stone is. The light then dims down and fades away and i look to see Ace digging in the dirt already.  He jumps up with his amber stone and smiles.

"Found mine!"

He smiles and runs to me.

"look! Look its pretty! Can I have it like yours?!"

If Ace has a tail it would be wagging like crazy. I nod and he hands me his stone and I make it into a necklace for him. He shows everyone his now necklace happy and proud.

"Wow...mines in a lake somewhere."

Yū looks at Ace annoyed that he found his so quickly.

"Mines in a wall...of stone..."

Rei looks at Yū a little upset hers isn't as easy to get to.

"Mine is a bright light..."

I look at peter that seems confused. I walk over to him and I put my hand on his hand and I use my necklace to allow me to see what he saw.

"Oh I know where that is!"

I look at him then I go to Rei and Yū. I know where they all are but only the location.

"Let's go then! Let's get this knocked out! We have the weekend!"

Yū is impatient wanting to find hers now. Rei tries to calm her and I look at her.

"fine we'll look for them but it'll take a while before we get to yours."

"then let's get going!"

I nod and we get back in the car after cleaning the meeting spot.  I get in the back of the car with peter. After about 10 minutes' peter is asleep resting his head on my shoulder. I smile softly and I fall asleep as well after giving Ace the directions to the next spot.
