Chapter 16

I look at them then I sigh. I just told them the one thing I did not want them to know. Now things are going to be different.

"Wow....you truly are amazing Vlad..."

I look at peter as he walks over to me and sits next to me.

"I mean I'm happy you finally told everyone else but....wow..."

"Wow is an understatement....why did peter get to know before us?"

Yū watches me trying to figure out if what I said is true.

"I hacked into his old school.....he was the only Hayashi in the system...I asked him about it and he came clean about it..."

Peter looks at me and I cannot help but look down.

"So that's why you wanted a room with peter...he knew and you were comfortable around him..."

Rei smiles.

"At least I'm not the only non-cis in the group!"

I smile softly.

"You guys are taking this much better than I thought you would...."

Ace just stares at me.

"I'm confused....is Vlad a boy or girl or neither?"

"I'm a boy Ace."

"Okay! That enough for me."

I smile as I hug my book.

"So Vlad is the first male witch? Cool!"

Ace smiles.

I stand up and I look at Rei and Yū.

"Where's the book that you were reading?"

"We brought it with us."

They hand me the book and I take it as I flip through the pages.

" quae patiuntur oculi latent"

The book lights up red as my eyes do and I read the pages that are now reveled to me. As I read, I start to understand why only the five of us is here.

"So I know why there's only us....we were supposed to have a huge group yet...she's been hunting them....soon she'll be coming for us...if we can't get use and know how to work our powers then we're going to be hunted and killed by her like the other..."

I close the book.

"Just like she killed the leaders. We're children of them and she's probably killed them all...."

"So all of us have foster parents because this witch wants to kill us all?"

"Pretty much peter....she's not going to stop....apparently she's trying to make the world her kingdom and rule it till the end of time by draining the people's life force..."

"Shit....we can't have that. We should get home and make sure that everything is still okay."

Yū looks at me then at Rei as she talks. I know she will never risk Rei so this might be difficult.

"And if there's a new person in town we need to make sure we know everything about them."

I close the book.

"We should get going now. We have to make sure that everything is okay."

We pack up and head out. On the way there, I read the book repeatedly until we get there.

"Guys....the witch was the white witch's sister...."

This is going to a little easier than I thought.

"I'll do research on your mother as you find more about the book"

I nod as I look at peter and I am dropped off. I go and I go right to my room ignoring my siblings. I sit on my bed reading it repeatedly.  Junsuina..... Someone with that name should not be that evil.....Junsuina Hayashi.....My Aunt....the woman that killed my parents....my mother spoke highly about her until she found out what she was doing. It was not until Aidan did call me down that I was snapped out of my thoughts. I close the book down a quick spell to make sure no one else can find it. I go down the stairs and I look at Aidan.

"What now I was doing work."

"Calm down our aunt is here to visit!"

I look at Aidan then I look over to see the same woman that has killed my mother as she talks to Tsuki. I walk back about to run to my room until I hear her voice. I turn and I look at her. She has dark brown eyes and dirty blonde hair. She has her hair up in a bun as she wears a suit that looks like she has been working businesses. Her voice is what throws me off. It is so soft and sweet yet I can hear how hard she is trying to keep it that way.

"How's my favorite nephew doing?"

I put on a smile and I turn around. I can see the color drain from her face and how hard it has now become for her to act as soon as she sees my necklace.

"That's a beautiful necklace! Where did you get it?"

"It is beautiful huh? Tsuki found it and gave it to me. It's worth more than I thought and it's like I have a connection with it."

I can tell by how her eyes flash a mint and how her own necklace glowed that she understands what I mean. I just smile at her.

"I even have some new classes at school! I joined a club as well for a while now."

I notice how it puts her on edge. She now believes that there are more then she thought together and have been here preparing for months for her return but that is far from the truth. We barely know anything about each other let alone how we can fight her when the times come.

"You must be so tired auntie. Why don't stay here? Or maybe you already have a place. It is getting late!"

With that, I get Aidan and Tsuki to talk into staying. Now I know where she will be and I know she works with stealth. If I am always with someone, she cannot take me out unless I am completely alone. Let us just hope I am right. I run up to my room closing and locking the doors do the strongest protection spells I can and then I text the team what just happened and that she is here. We need a plan.
