"You're gonna get blind one day if you don't take your eyes off that computer."

Izaya didn't listen. His eyes were still stuck to the computer screen.

"What do you even do anyway?"

"None of your business."

"Nothing is my business, huh? You're too freaking secretive." Shizuo said, which Izaya didn't reply to.

Shizuo sighed as he got out some milk from the fridge.

Wait.

How did those milk jugs get here? If they haven't even gone to the grocery store yet?

He checked out the pantry, which was filled just like the fridge.

"How did all this stuff get here?"

Izaya finally took his eyes of his computer and looked over to Shizuo, who was drinking a jug of milk.

"I went out early in the morning to get them."

Shizuo sat down on the couch and turned on the TV,

"Thanks."

Izaya stared at Shizuo, quickly gluing his eyes back to the computer when he noticed he was staring,

"Yeah, no problem..."

...

Hours passed since Shizuo left for work, leaving Izaya all alone.

Shizuo didn't think any of it. Izaya was the norm, the only difference was that he didn't talk much.

And he didn't wear that snarky smirk.

And he looks like he hasn't slept. At all.

And Izaya was normal.

What was the point to take care of Izaya anymore?

Izaya was fine, maybe even better than fine, he thought. Shizuo saw nothing wrong with him except, of course, his lack of talking, which was kind of weird because Izaya tended to talk non stop.

Maybe he learned to finally shut up?

Or maybe-

"Shizuo? You okay?"

Shizuo looked at Tom, "Yeah, sorry. I was just thinking about something."

"About what?" A woman stepped in.

"Nothing to worry about, Vorona."

"You sure?? You can have the rest of the day off if you want." Shizuo shrugged, taking the opportunity.

"Sure."

He decided to walk to Shinra to talk about what's going on with Izaya.

...

"Hello again, Shizuo! How's Izaya doing?"
