Jack's P.O.V.
There were flashbacks in my mind I can't control. I remembered Debbie's 5th birthday where Donna was very happy. When the cake arrived, Debbie was very, very happy. Then Debbie hugged and kissed me and Donna. I felt very happy even though I was attacked by my scary fears. Debbie made a wish then blew the candles. Then when I saw the smoke, in my mind it formed into a skull. All visitors became skeletons even Debbie and Donna.
Another flashback came in my mind. I remembered Debbie and Donna in the beach happily swimming in the sea. I was happy in seeing them playing on the beach. In my mind, I saw them being sucked into the water. I then woke up from these flashbacks and saw Debbie holding a knife.
I became brave because of the flashbacks that inspired me to have courage and strength to face my fears. I just walked straight to the stairs leading out the basement. I overcome my fears and learned to have courage.
