The next morning Harry woke up to a pile of presents in front of his bed. He was ecstatic to receive his first present, and there were more here than he anticipated. He leisurely got up at nine o clock, as he smirked at how the Weasley would've been up for hours. He could relax and get ready as he pleased.
After showering and getting dressed, Harry sat down and spread all his present around him. He notice the first present as a sheet of paper with a coin stick to it. The note read;
'From the Dursley's' with nothing else. Attached was a 50p coin and Harry rolled his eyes. He decided it to save it anyway - as a small amount of money can help in an emergency. The next present he opened was from Hannah and Susan, who had got him some colour changing quills, that would change based on the writers moved. Harry smiled at the thoughtful present. Hermione and Neville had gotten him a book on defence, which was Harry's best subject even thought they had a shi- rubbish teacher. Padma and Terry had gotten him a book on the history of magic, which they knew he was really interested in, even with Binns as a professor. The rest of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw had gotten him a large collection of sweets and chocolate, all with preservation charms to last as long as he needed them to. Finally he turned to the present from his four closest friends and a fifth unknown present. The first was from Theo, who has gotten him a book on politics in the wizarding world, he always felt a bit behind his friends in Slytherin so he knew this would help Harry feel more comfortable. Daphne had gotten him a set of wizarding children's books so he could experience some of the things they did growing up. Blaise got him a book on magical creatures and their classifications and why some were outlawed in certain pages. He didn't know if he really came off that much as a reader to his friends but he was thankful that they chose interesting books. Harry took Tracey's present and opened a small necklace. Attached was a note from Tracey;
'Dear Harry,
This necklace allows us to keep in touch, you can send messages by talking, but you have to set a key word first. It will heat up if one of the others are in danger. The other three have one too, as my dad made them for us when he was nine. You'll be able to hear the messages and tell who is speaking.
Love, Tracey.' Harry smiled at the thoughtful present, and set the code word to family. He knew he didn't say the word often so it was good. The last present felt light, almost as if there was nothing in there. He opened it to find a jet black cloak, with a silvery sheen on top that Harry could only assume was magic. A bit fell out and he read the swirling handwriting.
"Harry,
Your father left this in my possession before he died. I would like you to have it know." The message wasn't signed, although Harry didn't care. He finally had something that belonged to his parents. He slipped the cloak on and was surprised to find that his body was invisible when he looked in a mirror. He slipped it over his head and his reflection was no more. He smirked at the present, and immediately fetched the two potions from his trunk. He snuck down to the great hall and saw Fred and George sitting at the Gryffindor table. He poured half of each of the potions into their drinks, being careful not to touch them, and left as soon as he finished his business. He came back after dropping his cloak in his room and was laughing, once he saw the effect of the potions.
"Il y a une problème!" George said. Harry could tell it was George as his hair was slightly light and his eyes more blue.
"Qu'est-ce que nous allons faire? " Fred exclaimed. Everyone was laughing and trying to translate - Harry was the only one who could understand French, as his teacher had given him a course on it, realising that he had a special knack for it.
"Qu'est ce que vous faisiez à la table Gryffindor?" They looked down at each other and went back to trying to dispel the colour. After a few more tries they glared at him.
"Qu'est ce que tu changes us s'il tu plaît? " they asked at the same time together. Harry pretended to look innocent.
"Ça n'est pas moi!" He sat down at their table, but would only eat if they told him to stay. Thankfully Ron wasn't there.
"Nous connaîtrons toute la mode else, et ils sont nos amis. Donc, c'est toi." Harry pretended to lol thoughtful.
"Ok - Mais comment l'ai je fait?" The twins looked at him, and glared.
"Tu ne peux pas parler avec tes amis until les vacances finissent, le deuxième jour dans Collège, ils vont changer. Tous le collège dois voir ton clothes et ton accent. Et tu es aussi Slytherin maintenant." Harry smirked slightly when they saw the twins look of horror. He was getting up to leave to go his table to eat, when they told him to stop.
"Si tu peux Prank us aime cette, tu dois être un bon personne. Tu peux asseoir avec us." Harry smiled his thanks at the two people. He thought he could get to like the twins.
All was fun between the three Gryffindors, until the youngest Weasley brother stomped through the door. He was annoyed to see his two brothers sitting with the slimy Slytherin snake.
"How dare you sit with my brothers, you slimy snake!" Ron shouted. Snape was the only Professor in the hall, but Harry gave him a subtle look telling him not to get involved unless his wand was pulled out.
"I am simply enjoying my breakfast on Christmas morning. Oh before I forget, Bon Nöel, Fred, George." Before they could reply, Ron butted in.
"Why are you speaking French, you bloody idiot?" Ron Said.
"C'est une Bon langue, ron." Fred said wrapping his arm around Harry.
"Et bon Nöel dans toi aussi Harry." George Said, doing the same. Harry smiled. He could get used to the twins around. Ron stormed out, though he looked around and saw their backs turned, he cast a few sparks to go hit Harry on the back. Snape was up on his feet, seeing the boy with his wand out and cast a shield charm behind the three boys. Harry felt the sparks approaching him and let them bounce off the shield.
"Fifty points from Gryffindor for attacking someone with their back turned." Ron stomped off even more mad than before. Harry subtly thanked the man with a nod and returned back to his meal with his two newest friends.

The end of the holidays can quickly for Harry, as with the twins he was never bored. He learnt new spells - which he came to with relative ease although he was sure they were meant for years above him - and pranks were set up. Fred and George even learnt a thing or two about subtlety from the Slytherin. All of his friends were expecting a gloomy Harry, but were pleasantly surprised when he was smiling. Fred and George had had many questions about the Slytherin robes and French, but they couldn't answer until the two days after the end of the holiday. Once they had admitted the were pranked and that it was by Harry, Harry received applauses from the whole hall and comments on a job well done. Harry smiled when the four Gryffindors girls on the quidditch team walked up to him.
"Harry, you really are smart, managing to prank those two idiots." Angelina started. Her sister Amelia took over,
"And we were overly impressed with your flying too."
"Fred and George have been trying to convince us that you were a good person over the last couple of days." Katie continued.
"And we were wondering if we could be friends?" Alicia finished. Harry smiled. They were all very nice and sweet about it.
"Of course. It nice to see people looking past houses." And he gave them all a light hug and a kiss on the hands. They all laughed sweetly.
"If you don't mind we'll join your study group with Fred and George - and might even persuade the other teams. It'll be a great help to us." Harry nodded and waved good bye to his new friends. Life was good.
