You're Ridiculous

James met up with Alex after school, though Alex wouldnt say anything to him.

"Alex I'm so sorry for whatever I did" James sighed, glancing at Alex for forgiveness. Alex moved a bit, "you don't even know what you're apologising for" he huffed.

James frowned, "but I'm aware that I messed up and I truely do mean I'm sorry" he whined. Alex looked down, "I'm just not happy with our relationship.."

James stepped back, clearly hurt by what alex said. Alex watched him, "I'm sorry but Everytime I say something you either push it down or have something smart to say" he hissed.

James growled, "what am I not allowed to have an opinion!?" He shouted, "fine I just won't say anything if that's what you want". Alex grabbed James arm, "no no no! You can speak" he laid his head on James chest, "I'm sorry" he whispered.

James smiled and stroked his back, "it's okay babe" the two walked to James car where the other were at.

"You guys waited for me so I could drive you home?" James chuckled, the four others nodded in unison and chuckled. They all piled into James car, This time Niall resting on Will's lap, and they headed to what seemed like a café,

"Sorry guys just let me grab a cup of coffee" James hummed, Niall and will beamed, "I want a donut" Niall squealed, his stomach growled and he had a big grin on his face.

James chuckled and nodded, "me too" will hummed, resting against the window. James shut the door after not hearing anything from the other 3, walking in he walks up to the counter, ordering the donuts first so the coffee doesn't get cold.

The lady smiled, "Hi James, nice to see you again" as she typed in the numbers on the register, she felt James gaze. "What are you looking at" she snapped, "I was reading your name tag, Robin.. nice name i like it" he hummed.

Alex was furious, "his coffee is gonna get cold if he keeps talking to that girl.." he mumbled, sighing in relief when James walked back out. Getting into the car he handed Will and Niall their donuts and looked at Alex, "what's wrong?" He buckled up, "do you want a donut?"

"No"

"Then what is it?" He hummed. George whined against Josh, he kept rubbing his stomach but the others assumed he just felt sick, and it didn't help that when they got back to James to hang out, he was in the bathroom throwing up his lunch.

Josh put a hand on him, "you don't have to go to school tomorrow babe, you're sick". George hummed, "yeah.. maybe it'll be for the better" he rested against Josh until he couldn't throw up anymore and he washed his face.

Josh stayed by him, humming when George would head back to the front room, "George you need to rest" he scooped him up and took him to James room.

George scuffed, "but I'm not tired-"

"But you're sick" Josh reassured and laid on the bed next to George. "I love you".

George took a deep breathe after a yawn and nodded, "I love you too".

Meanwhile James was trying to talk to alex, but the smaller lad just ignored him, he still nod and shook his head but overall it was a bunch of groans and grunts.

James grew angry, "youre getting on my nerves Alex!" He slapped the boy across the face.

The sound caught Wills and Nialls attention, the two rushing over and stopped where they were as they glanced at Alex.

Alex didn't move, a huge red mark rested on his cheek, burning as warm tears would stream over it. James hugged alex, "I didn't want to hit you"

"Then why did you?" Niall growled, walking to James, "never lay your hands on an omega- Anyone! You have no right to hit Alex like that" Niall shouted.

Alex muffled a sob and Niall pulled him into a hug, "we're leaving" Niall spat at James.

"Shush you stupid mutt" James grabbed the two by their necks and Will watched them slip into subspace.

Will started at the two, slowly starting to walk towards them. Not even noticing that James was right beside him, and all he saw next was black.

James sighed, "you guys are seriously a headache my God" he helped them onto the couch. Josh was up to get some water for George when he watched James, "what happened?".

James hummed, "they fell asleep but will was falling off so I'm helping him back up".

Josh nodded and got the water, heading back to George. "Josh I heard George ya know, vomited everywhere.. do you think that"

"He's sick James, we never did anything while he was in heat"

"But erling did"

"James we went to the hospital and it was negative"

"But what if it wasn't, and George is scared"

"Shut it James, you're being ridiculous" Josh huffed, James nodded, "you're probably right"
He sat down besides Alex, slowly resting against him and stroking his stomach,

"Probably right" James repeated to himself, Alex curled up against him, smelling the scent that comforted him in subspace.

Small sniffles escaped him as the mark slowly started to fade, James hummed and kissed the smaller boys forehead, "love you".

Alex whispered something that he couldn't quite make out, so he just assumed that Alex said it back.

He was brought out of subspace now, since james was near, but he kept his eyes closed, since he was exhausted from the crying and decided to take a short nap.

I think there will be a update every week, I might throw in some extra ones but it gives me time to put together a chapter im proud of while keeping up with school :)
