i stared at the male in front of me. it was always the same question. is he your little brother? and i always get the same reaction once i opened my mouth, "no, he's my son."

"oh, well- i didn't realize- i should probably go."

it wasn't that guys always left, it was more that, i could never find anyone willing to stay for me. i'd go on a few first dates, but as soon as they found out about brandon, they'd leave faster than my mother left us.

as much as i have written, only joel, yashua, and richard make an appearance or are mentioned, but zabdiel, erick and christopher are going to be in the story, but i'm not sure how much they'll be in the book.
