Leo's POV

I get my schedule and look at my first class. "Ughh, I hate math!" I think, seeing that it is my first class. I start walking to room 213, and on the way I look at the rest of my schedule.
Math: Mr. Turner 213
Dance: Mrs. Vali 411
Health: Coach Pope 117
Social Studies: Mr. Young 214
Science: Mrs. Baker 358
Reading/ELA: Mrs. Ingram 142
I sigh and plop down in a seat in the back of the classroom. After a few minutes, Mr. Turner comes in and tells us to do the bell-ringer. I finish mine before everyone else. Hey, just because I don't like math doesn't mean that I have to be horrible at it. I look around to see who I sat next to, because I was the last one to get into the class. To my left, a brown haired girl with braces and lots of freckles. Straight in front of me is a red-headed guy with earrings and pale skin. To my right, the kid I was following last night. "WAIT, WHAT?" I think, and do a double take. I sneak another look, not wanting to be caught, because he had finished his bell-ringer. Sure enough, it was him. "Crap, oh crap, oh crap!" If he recognized me, he might go crazy, because the teacher said that where we were sitting would be our permanent seats for the ENTIRE YEAR! Then he looks up, and BAM! He sees me. I closed my eyes and waited for him to explode. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0! Ummm, is he going to explode, or..." I think. I slowly open my eyes and I see him smiling at me. "Huh, I wonder why he's smiling." He pulls out a piece of notebook paper, writes something on it, and when the teacher isn't looking, he hands it to me.
