Chapter 7

Leo's POV

I look at the paper in disbelief. It says, "Do you gotta phone? If so, give it to me, and if there is a password, put in in for me." What the crap is that about? I got my iPhone out and put in the passcode. When the teacher wasn't looking, I tossed it to him and then he started messing around with things that I couldn't see. About halfway through the class, he tossed it back. He had added himself to my contacts, and he had also iMessaged me. This is our conversation for the rest of the block.

Him=Hey

Me=What do you want?

Him=Well that's friendly (note the sarcasm)

Me=Meh, whatever floats your boat. Now why are you bugging me?

Him=I seem to recall YOU following ME, not the other way around.

Me=Shaddap.

Him=How about, no.

Me=Imma ignore you.

Him=Why, what did I ever do to you?

Me=Can't you tell imma ignoring you?

Him=Well why did you just reply?

Me=Pshh, that didn't happen. The Super-sized McShizzle would never! How dare you insult me like that!

Him=*le facepalm* You're hopeless.

Me=Nuh uh.

Him=#hopeless

Me=Imma ignore you again.

Him=*sigh* Back to square one...

Me=Hey, it's your fault, sunshine.

Him=DON'T. YOU. DARE.

Me=*innocent expression*What did I do?

After that he stopped messaging me, but he did give me the evil eye all through class. This is pretty much how it went until lunch (between 4th and 5th block). I sat down at a table that was empty, and the other kid sat down next to me. "What was your name again?" I ask. "Nico di Angelo, what's yours?" "Leo Valdez" I say then someone walks over to our table and asks, "Hey, would you guys mind if my friends and I sit here with you? There isn't anywhere else with enough empty seats for all of us." "Nah, we don't mind. You can sit here." "Thanks. I'm Percy Jackson."
