Months had passed since I saw Yoongi cry and sing over his mothers grave. School was going to start back up on Monday and I still hadn't figured out what happened to his mom or why he all of the sudden wasn't talkative.

"Watcha got there?" My mom asks, peering over my shoulder. "Oh it's nothing Mama, just a picture."

"A picture of your boyfriend?" I playfully push her, blushing, "He's not my boyfriend mom, he's just my best friend."

"Oh and I'm the queen of South Korea." She grins, playing with the ends of my hair.

"Mom he isn't, he really is just my best friend."

"So what happened that night he kissed you?"

"Nothing happened, I promise. It was just one kiss."

"Fine fine, whatever. Can I at least see the picture?"

"If I show you, will you leave me be?"

"Sure, I'm dying to see hurry up!" She grins, hugs my shoulders, resting her head on top of mine.

"There, happy now?"

"There, happy now?"

"I've never seen him smile, how wonderful."

"I know, that's why I took a picture, I'm not sure if I'll ever see that smile again." I sigh, staring down at my phone with a slight pain in my chest.

Mama walks into the kitchen, rummaging through a a cabinet. A full ten minutes pass before another word is spoken, "When is Yoonvi coming home dear? He's been our for hours."

"Not sure mom, maybe he's out with Hobi."

My alarm rings to the sound of Yoongis voice. I had secretly recorded him singing when we went to Daegu, just for me.

I sit up, glancing around, slouching at the sight of an empty room. Yoongi didn't come back the weekend before today which meant her most likey wouldn't show up to school.

I get dressed, pulling my shirt over my head and pulling my pants past my thighs. Mom calls up to me, telling me breakfast is ready and that she'd drive me to school.

My head hung low for just a moment, inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.

"Honey are you not going to eat?" Mom questions, grabbing her bag and keys, "No I'm fine. Can we go?"

"Sure thing, I'll be out in a minute. Oh and before I forget to tell you, i have a late shift today so I won't be home until way after you're asleep."
