"No one is going to remember Cleopatra or Albert Einstein let alone any of us. You see, the simple fact that we believe that hundreds of thousands of years after we die, the world will remeber us. In some cases that's true but the universe doesn't even know we exist. To it, we're just a plant with a colourful exterior. Nothing we do... Matters," I whisper, playing with Kooks hair as he sleeps in my arms.
The dawn would rise in a few hours. All I had to do was sleep, make it through me week, and everything would be fine.

"If you don't wake up we're both going to be late." Jungkook chuckles, pulling his ahirt over his head.
"I'm awake, maybe just five more minutes?"
"Nope," he smiles, pulling the blanket away.
I groan, rubbing my eyes as I walk to the closet to grab my clothes. A few minutes after he pulls the blanket away, he races downstairs to join his mom for breakfast before she left.
My shirt falls from my hands, landing on a small box. I roll my eyes, bending down to pick it up, knocking over the box and to falls a small book.
Some part of me deep down wanted to leave it but the rest of me wanted to read it. Glancing around, I shove the book in my backpack and finish getting ready.
"Yoongles I'll be in the car!" Kookie calls out. I grab my hoodie and bag, grunting before walking downstairs to catch his mother on the phone.
"Yes I understand we need his side of the story but it's been months and we're just now getting to this? I don't want to put that back on him, he's just starting to get used to the thought of even a handshake."
"Yes I understand his statement will help but us that what you really want?"
"Yes... Mhm... Okay yes I understand. I'll talk to him. Yes. Thank you, goodbye." She sighs, covering her face with her hands.
I slip past, not wanting to know what any of it meant or if I was apart of this in anyway.
With a sigh of my own, I sit in the drivers seat and start the car, "What took so long?" Kooks asks, hooking up his phone to the stereo and playing a song he knew was my favourite, or at least one of my favourite.
"I fell over putting on my shirt," I lie, driving up the street and pulling into the school parking lot.
"You fell over putting on a shirt? How typical." He laughs, grabbing his backpack and walking inside.
I grin, grabbing my back and running to catch up with him. The others all stand at his locker, waiting for him. They glance at me, smile, then turn back to Jungkook like I didn't exist.
"Um, hey guys." I joke, looking up at them with utter confusion.
They continue to talk with Jungkook, not even a simple nod, "Hey guys, I think he wants to talk to you." Kooks says with the same hint of confusion.
"Who?" Joon asks, glaring at his phone.
"No no, it's okay Kookie, I'll catch up with you later." Another lie. I wasn't going to stay, I wanted to go home.
Home is where I would've gone but you see, I didn't have a home of my own. Not anymore.
I sit in my car, staring down at the book I had found this morning. The first page had words up words written all over it.
