Hannah POV

( a couple days later) (it's 1 in the morning)

I was laying in bed when I heard a huge clap of thunder and I woke up, scared. I have never liked storms and I could tell this was going to be a bad one. I pulled the covers higher over my head and snuggled in deeper trying to go back to sleep but I just kept getting more and more scared and anxious. I really didn't want to wake up my dad so I went to Luke's room.

"Lukey" I said poking him. It took a couple tries before he looked up at me confused.

"What's the matter sweetie?" He asked.

"I'm scared of the storm and I didn't want to wake Ashton."

"Aww come here". He cooed bringing me into his chest.

I layed for a while and once he noticed I was still shaking and scared he told me I should go to dad because he will help. He brought me down the hall and once we were in Ashton's room Luke shook him saying

"Mate wake up, Hannah needs you." Once he heard that he shot up and I said thank you to Luke before he left.

"Baby girl what's wrong?" Ashton asked bringing me into his lap rocking me back and fourth noticing that I was shaking.

"I'm scared of the storm and I didn't want to wake you is I went to Luke, but I needed you.

Ashton POV

It was adorable how she said she needed me when she was scared.

"Whenever you need me, come get me. I don't care if I'm sleeping ok? And your safe darling, it can't hurt you." I cooed running my fingers through her hair.

She nodded before snuggling into my chest deeper so I layed us down and pulled the blankets over us. Every time there was a loud clap of thunder Hannah whimpered and I kissed her forehead rubbing her back each time.

"I love you daddy" she whispered as the storm started to die down.

"I love you too angel, sweet dreams" I spoke before she drifted off to sleep. I soon did too.
