let it snow❄️

Hannah's POV

We had all just settled down on the couch in the living room bundled up in blankets about to watch a movie. I a snow flurry fall outside the window and then a ton more. It was snowing!!!

Ashton's POV

"Daddy look it's snowing!"
I looked down at Hannah in my lap to see her smiling and admiring the falling snow out the window.

"I see baby! First snow of the season!" I replied kissing her forehead.

All of us just continued watching the movie until everyone was freezing.

"Luke go turn up the heat." Michael announced.

I could feel Hannah shivering even though we were wrapped in blankets.

"Darling your shaking." I cooed wrapping my arms around her rocking back and forth. She curled up more in my chest.

"It's really snowing out there guys we might lose power." Calum spoke walking back into the room from checking outside.

I sighed knowing it would be colder if we couldn't put the heat on. We all just nodded knowing we couldn't do anything about it.

"Daddy can you put it a little louder?" Hannah asked talking about the movie. I forget about it but she seemed to still be watching it.

"Sure baby" I spoke grabbing the remote and turning up the volume.

We watched the movie for about another 20 minutes when the lights turned off along with the TV. We lost power. Hannah whimpered as soon as the darkness hit. She doesn't really like the dark that much so this is not going to be fun.

"I'll go find some candles and flashlights." Michael sighed.

"Are you okay sweetie?" I asked squeezing hannah a little tighter since she can't see me.

"Yeah." She said not so convincingly.

"Ah damnit. Ash can you come help me." Micheal yelled from the kitchen.

"Daddy no don't get up." Hannah whined.

"Baby I need to help him find the flashlights and candles. Luke is right next to you, right Luke?" I asked looking towards the general direction Luke is in.

"Yup, it's okay Hannah" he said pulling her into his lap as I got up and tried to make my way through the dark.

We would of used our phones but they were dead. And Cal only had 1 percent. I eventually made it to where Michael was and opened a cabinet. I grabbed some flashlights as he grabbed some candles and a lighter and we stumbled back into the living room. I turned on the flashlight and everyone's head snapped towards my direction. Hannah held her arms out for me as I set everything down on the coffee table.

I sat back down on the couch with my back against the arm rest, pulling Hannah back into my lap. She looked up at me just frowning.

We stayed like that for a while because there was nothing to do, until Hannah said she had to go to the bathroom.

"I don't want to go alone. Even with a flashlight." She spoke up.

"Okay I will go with you baby, cmon."

I took the flashlight and held her hand as we walked through the hallway to the bathroom. Once we were there I handed her the flashlight and waited outside the door for her to come back out. And when she did we made our way back to the couch settling in once again, in the same position. Hannah's breathing started to slow and she was soon asleep on my chest with all the blankets wrapped around us.

"Goodnight angel" I whispered kidding her temple as I too fell asleep.
