Hannah's POV

I woke up the next day laying in my dads arms, remembering the scary night that happened before. When I looked at the clock I saw that it was only 5 in the morning and I had no idea why I was up. But I got up to go to the kitchen and get a glass of water. As I stumbled down the stairs I walked into the kitchen to find a drunk Luke and Michael in the living room. They were half asleep too.
There was a bunch of broken glass everywhere. I just turned around and jogged back up the stairs. The smell of liquor was bringing back haunting memories from my childhood. I walked back into my dads room to find him sitting up in bed looking for me.

"Oh there you are baby." He spoke raspy considering he was still tired and just woke up.

He opened his arms for me to come in. I walked over and hugged him but soon smelt alcohol.

"No no no please tell me you didn't." I said scared.

"Didn't what darling?" He asked groggily.

"Drink" I shuttered. "You smell like alcohol." I told him.

Ashton's POV

I know her parents were alcoholics and abused her because they were always drunk. She was going to be scared of what she would find downstairs with the boys then.

Hannah's POV

I even started to back away a little.

"No no no angel I didn't drink. I'm completely sober. I smell like liquor because I heard the boys stumble in at 1 in the morning and discovered they were drunk so I needed to help them. Some of the smell rubbed off on me. Come here baby I'm completely sober." Daddy explained.

I was so thankful he wasn't drunk because I don't know what I would do. But Luke and Michael were completely wasted.

I threw my self into Ashton's arms as he rubbed my back.

Ashton's POV

"I'm sorry if that scared you love." I cooed still holding Hannah in my arms.

"I saw Luke and Michael downstairs when I went down to get water." She said worryingly.

We heard clatter from downstairs which means they were up. Oh great.

"We have to go downstairs, I have to check on them. I'm going to carry you okay?" I asked.

She nodded eagerly. I scooped her up making her comfortable and preparing her for what we might encounter when we go downstairs.

As soon as we got to the bottom of the stairs, Luke threw a beer bottle at us and giggled about it like it was hilarious. The bottle hit the wall next to us but some of the glass hit off the wall and hit Hannah's arm. I could already tell it was going to leave a scar. Just like the ones she already had from her childhood. That's when she lost it. Tears streaming down her face.

"Fück mate what's wrong with you." I half yelled at Luke and shoving him.

He just kept giggling. Hannah was in hysterics. Horrible memories from her childhood coming back to her.

"CALUM" I shouted up the stairs.

He rushed down.

"Take care of this please." I said pointing to the boys as i cradled Hannah back and forth and then ran up the stairs to get her away from all that.

"Shh shh shh baby we are going to fix you all up." I spoke soothingly, sitting her on the bathroom counter.

I looked at her arm and saw some glass stuck in it and blood all over. I carefully pulled out the glass and she cried in pain.

"I'm sorry baby girl. This is going to sting a little okay?" I said warning her.

She tensed up as I poured the rubbing alcohol on her.

"You are doing so good baby, we are almost done." I encouraged.

I wrapped an ace bandage all over her arm almost forming a small cast.

"There you go! All done!" I spoke kind of cheerfully. I picked her up off the counter, kissing her head in the process and also her cheek.

She nuzzled her head into my shoulder. We walked into her room and sat down to talk.

----------------------------

"I should of never brought you done there. That was probably the worst move I ever made." I realized.

"It's not your fault." She sniffled. " it's just- it brought back so much bad images and the fact that Luke did it made me more sad." She confessed.

"Being drunk does horrible things to people baby. And they can't control it. But they can control how much they drink." I said.

She nodded. She climbed into my lap and looked up at me.

" I want you to know that I rarely even have a beer. I've never been drunk in my life and I do not plan on it. I just want you to know you always have me." I explained to her.

"Really? You never really drink?" She asked surprised.

"Nope." I answered proudly.

"Good" she stated, still teary eyed.

"I hate being around any drunk person." She said.

"Me too baby. Me too. I'll never be drunk, so always come to me if you around one of the boys and they are drunk okay?" I asked.

"Okay daddy." She answered.

"I love you so much my little trooper. You are so brave." I smiled kissing her all over her forehead and cheeks.

She giggled as it tickled her face.

"I love you daddy. Like more then anyone in the wholeeeeeee world." She smiled giggling again. I wrapped my arms around her in my lap and hugged her and kissed her forehead.
I'm just so glad I can always be here to make her feel better. I love her.
