Hannah POV
(It's the day after her birthday)
I was upstairs in my room practicing my guitar when I heard yelling from downstairs so I got up off my bed to go check it out. When I got downstairs I stood just I front of the bottom of the stair case and I saw Michael screaming and throwing glass things on the ground and smashing. Ashton, Luke, and Calum were trying to calm him down. I head him scream about how his girlfriend had cheated on him and dumped him, that's when he made eye contact with me.
"WHY IS SHE DOWN HERE?" He raged, raising his hand in the air stepping closer to me. I flinched and started crying when he punched the wall because this was reminding me of my past.
"You thought I would hurt you?" Michael whimpered.
I just kept crying and dad gave him the Death stare before coming over to me and scooping me up in his arms.
Ashton POV
My poor baby. I knew what her past was like and this whole situation was horrible for her. I carried her up to my room where i sat on the bed and pulled her into my lap.
"Baby girl shh your alright" I cooed wiping her tears away with my thumb. She shook her head and buried her head in my chest.
"It was exactly what my dad used to do when he abused me" she sobbed. I was heartbroken for her.
"Aww sweetie he wasn't going to hurt you I promise. Your safe here." I cooed. Rubbing her back.
"I know daddy. But can I just please stay away from him for a little, or at least be with you when we are with him?" She pleaded.
"Of course darling, how about we go to the game room with and play some Mario kart with Luke?" She nodded eagerly and we walked downstairs and onto the game room couch.
We had been playing Mario kart when Michael walks in and the room gets tense. He sighs and I look over at Hannah making eye contact and her eyes almost say "help me" I scooch over to her and bring her into my lap comforting her. She looks into my eyes and mouths "thank you" and I kiss her head.
By now it's late so I suggest we just go to bed.

"Goodnight daddy thank you for making me feel safe today" she gushed.
"Aww your welcome sweetie. Just tell me if you need anything." I said before heading out of her room and into mine.
