"Angel wake up" I spoke gently. Me, Hannah, and the boys woke up in the living room where we fell asleep last night and sadly the power was still off.
Hannah started to stir and eventually her eyes fluttered open.
"Hi daddy" she yawned while stretching. She then sat up and turned towards me.
"We are going to the Hemming's house since we don't have power and they haven't met you yet!" I explained.
"Okay!" She answered optimistically.

We had just arrived at the Hemming's home and the door had just swung open revealing Liz.
"Hi boys! And Hannah it's so wonderful to meet you!"
I smiled as hannah said hello back.
We then said hello to the rest of the family and sat down around the living room. Hannah sat down next to me. We just started having conversations mostly revolving around Hannah since it was their first time meeting her.

Hannah's POV
Ashton's ex girlfriend was here because Luke's brother Jack was friends with her. So there was some awkward tension in the air. I got up to go to the bathroom after asking Calum where it was and did what I needed to do. When I walked out someone grabbed me and pulled me into a room and locked the door.
"Listen up little girl" I heard evilly from behind me. I turned around and saw Ashton's ex, Emma, standing right in front of me with a cruel look on her face.
"You need to get out of Ashton's life. He doesn't love you. He loves me. I want him back. He's mine. I should be the only girl in his life. I've warned you now. So don't even try because he loves me and not you. I will hurt you. Trust me, I know where you live. Back off "She growled.
Wow. She was scared of me, a 13 year old, stealing Ashton.
"WERE YOU LISTENING" she screamed angrily.
I just nodded. Terrified. She unlocked the door and pushed me out, and I slammed against the hallway wall, then started walking in front of me and down the stairs. She just walked back into the room with an innocent smile again.
I just needed to tell my dad.

Ashton's POV
Emma walked back into the room with an innocent smile but I could tell she did something bad. I was really pissed she was here but it wasn't my choice. A couple seconds after Emma comes walking in Hannah trudges out too. But she stands there aghast.

Hannah's POV
Ash starts walking over to me obviously seeing quite a look of terror on my face.
"Daddy" I choked out, my lips quivering.
"Sweetie you look like you've seen a ghost" he spoke pulling me into a bear hug. He guided me to the guest room and sat us down on the bed.
"Now what happened baby?" He asked gently.
"Emma locked me in the room and threatened me. Then pushed me out of the door and against the wall."

She can mess with me. But not my daughter.

Hannah's POV
"She told me that you don't love me and that you love her." I sniffled.
"hannah you don't actually believe that right?" Dad asked concerned. I shook my head and he looked relieved.
"Did she hurt you?" He questioned. I nodded and pointed to my arm where there was a bruise from hitting the wall. Dad started to seem more and more angry by the second. But still ever so gently scooped me up and pulled me into his lap making me feel safe and content.
"she's just a really band person hannah. That's why I broke up with her. I didn't know she was going to be here and for her to threaten you, and to even lay a hand on you has crossed the line." He spoke.
"It was really scary daddy." I whimpered.
" I know sweetie. You are going to be near me for the rest of the time we are here okay? I don't want you near her again" he said.
"Okay" I answered back quietly.
He then just rocked me back and forth in his lap and hummed "beside you". Then Luke walked in.

Ashton's POV
Luke walked in and asked if everything was okay. And it wasn't. So I explained everything while rocking Hannah back and forth. I was really pissed at Emma. Luke explained that we would be sleeping over and that he was going to talk to Jack about what happened.

Hannah's POV
After Luke talked to dad we all walked back out into the living room. Dad was carrying me. Emma smiled at him avoiding eye contact with me. He glared at her and tightened his grip on me. She looked offended and walked away. I really hate her.

Hannah's POV
It was now 10:00 and we were getting ready to go to bed. And of course emma had to be sleeping over too.
" Babe, do you want to sleep in the guest room with me tonight?" Daddy asked. I nodded thankful that he asked.
We settled down in the bed after getting changed.
"I still can't believe Emma did that. You know I love you so much right? I never loved her. And I know she might just be bluffing but I won't let her hurt you baby." he cooed.
"I love you" I gushed.
He kissed my forehead as we fell into a deep slumber.
