Sleepover gone wrong

Hannah POV

(Next Friday)

I was standing outside my friends house with Ashton ready to have a sleepover. I was nervous because it was my first sleepover since I had been at the orphanage and also my friend had lots of pets.

"Hannah! Come on in!" My friend Emma cheered. Me and Ashton stepped inside and I turned around saying bye to Ashton and hugging him.

"Bye dad!"

"Bye sweetie! Have fun!" Dad replied. I smiled and walked away to have some fun.

We were now lying down in Emma's room. Me on an air mattress and Emma on her bed. She was asleep, it was 1:00 in the morning and I couldn't sleep. Her cat, and I hate cats, was standing on her desk watching us, and he once and a while walked near my head. Also both her dogs were lying at my feet and I just couldn't take it. I tried to wake her up and tell her I wanted to leave but she wouldn't budge. So I had to text Ashton, hoping he we see it.

'Daddy I'm really sorry that I had to wake you up but I can't do it, her pets are lying with us and I just want to go home and see you'

I waited for him to answer. 10 minutes later I got a text.

'Baby girl don't be sorry. I texted her mom and she should be up soon to get you. I'm on my way."

I was relieved and then the door opened revealing Emma's mother. She came over to me and helped gather my stuff and then shook Emma awake. Once she told her I was leaving she started crying and then I felt horrible. The doorbell rang and knowing it was dad I got up and walked down the stairs with her mom.

"Hi mr Irwin. I'm sorry Hannah wasn't comfortable here maybe we could try again."

"Thank you and of course!" We shut the door and I walked into Ashton's embrace hugging him.

Ashton POV

As soon as I closed the door Hannah hugged me and I felt so bad that she was so uncomfortable there. She even started getting teary eyed.

"Baby your fine, were going home" I said kissing her forehead.

She climbed I to the passengers seat as I drove back to our house. I looked over at her every once and a while seeing that she was trying to hold back tears and it killed me.i reached over and patted her knee soothing her until we pulled into our driveway. We got out of the car and walked into the house and into Hannah's room.

"Now tell me whey you're so upset darling." I spoke pulling her Into my lap.

"When Emma's mom came and shook Emma awake and told her I was leaving. Emma started crying and I felt like I ruined everything and I can't even sleep over at someone's house without being a baby." She cried.

"Angel, your not a baby, and Emma was only crying because she was half asleep and probably didn't even know what was going on. You didn't ruin anything I promise" I cooed kissing her forehead.

She nodded and looked at me before saying

"I just want to go to bed" and yawned.

"Ok baby girl sleep tight. I love you"

"I love you too" she yawned before drifting off to sleep as I left the room.
