Bad day

Hannah POV

it was lunch time at school and I was having a horrible day. Everything was going wrong and I was forgetting everything and I just wanted to go home. I texted Ashton because I was bored at my lunch table and didn't want to be here.

'Daddy I need a hug'

Ashton POV

Buzz buzzz. My phone went off and it was a text from Hannah saying

'Daddy I need a hug'

I mentally awed and then got sad because my poor baby needed me.

' angel, I wish I could, what's wrong?😞' I answered back.

She texted back right away saying

'Im having a horrible day and I just really want to go home' I looked at the time and knew she was now at lunch. I should just go pick her up if she really wanted to be and she wouldn't miss much. I texted her back

' I'll come pick you up baby, see you soon'

I put my phone away and got in the car driving away to the middle school. Once I was there I signed into the main office and they announced over the speaker that 'Hannah Irwin is now dismissed for early dismissal.'

5 minutes later Hannah walked into the office looking stressed and I just wanted to hug her and get her anything she wanted to make her feel better.

"Bye guys" the office lady said as we walked out the door and to the car.

"How about that hug?" I asked opening my arms. She smiled slightly and walked into my arms burrying her head in my chest. I rubbed my hand on her back and she sighed as we got in the car.

"I'm sorry I made you pick me up, I have been causing so much trouble lately." She frowned. I hate how she has been saying that. She's brought nothing then joy to me and the boys.

"Sweetie no. Don't say that. You haven't been any trouble at all I promise. I'm always here for you and I'm always on your side, don't forget that."

"I won't, I love you daddy! Thank you for everything"

"I love you too baby" I cooed kissing her forehead at the stoplight as we drove back home in silence.
