I TOLD her everything.
From beginning to end and unlike everyone else, she believed me. She hung onto every word I said making me feel twice as more vulnerable.
And after I was done, she looked at me with glistening eyes and that's when I realized, I too, was crying. Tears cascaded down my cheeks in unbroken streams and my choked sobs spoke the words I failed to speak.
A moment passed without neither one of us speaking. Then she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around my waist pulling me close to her petite form. She hid her face in the crook of my neck and let out a shaky breath.
And for once, just once, I felt like I found my home.
