"WE'RE GOING to take him into surgery now." the doctor said, looking down at the green file he was holding. He finally lifted his head to look at us. "Let's hope for the best, shall we?"

His smile was supposed to be reassuring but it sure wasn't.

I peered into the room in hopes of seeing Hoseok seated up, wearing his usual carefree smile but much to my disappointment he was laying down with an oxygen mask that covered half of his face.

The nurses rolled him out of the room as Miss. Jung and I gazed after the retreating figures of them.

My hands started to tremble and my eyes were watering as I plopped myself down on the chair nearby next to Miss. Jung. My heart started to throb against my chest and I placed my hand on it in hopes of calming it down.

'It's okay.'

'He's going to be fine.'

'It's okay.'

'He's okay.'

But a part of me,

Knew that he was not going to come out of that room alive.
