"HEY, HOBI." I said before letting out a chuckle. Hoseok gazed at me with utmost curiosity.

"You used to hate it when I called you that." I remarked recalling the times he grimaced as soon as the word left my mouth. Hoseok's face remained emotionless and my smile was instantly slapped off my face.

I sat down on the stool and reached out to grab his hand out of habit. Hoseok flinched when my hand made contact with his but soon relaxed. He gazed at our intertwined hands with curiosity and much to my utmost surprise I noticed a tear rolling down the side of Hoseok's face.

I immediately brushed it away with my thumb and I looked at his watery eyes with a questioning look. He glanced down once again at our hands and then lifted his head to look at me.

That's when I realised what he was trying to say.

"You're sad cause you can't remember about us?" I questioned, softly. He hesitated for a moment but then, nodded.

"Trust me, you don't have to be sorry." I paused. "I'm the one who should be sorry. You did so much for me yet now I can't do anything to save you."
