Betty's POV
Me and Cher go into the living toom. I narrow my eyes at Jug and he is grinning, so he obviously knows what I wrote.
I look around. And freeze. It's her. The woman who shot Collin that night. The woman who wanted to shot me.
Her clothes. Her hat. Her jacket. Her hair. Her lips. Her nose. And most of all, her-
Wait a minute. Her eyes. They're brown. I remember clear blue eyes. So shining and light, fulled with sneering and madness.
Her eyes here are brown, warm, welcoming. The same as Jelly's.
He looks worried, "What is it?"
I open my mouth to say what I just discovered. But it's not logical. Her eyes are different. And you can't get THAT clear blue eyes from contacts, can you?
I clink my teeth together and walk to the tv. I squat down in front of it and since we still have the six little boxes with he tapes in here, I take the second one. We marked the cassette with a blue marker, so find it with a moment.
"Betty," Chic says in shock. I look at him for a moment, but he's glaring at Gladys as well.
I think everyone can get it now. Dad gets up as I put the tape inside the player. I scroll it to the night and press stop.
I look at Gladys. She is looking at me in shock as she gets up rapidly. The two little boys who look like Jug and Jelly a little, look confused as dad gets up and grabs her wrists and puts them behind her back. She obviously knows what's going on.
"FP," she says between her teeth. "My kids are here."
"All four of them," FP states and pushes her in front of the tv and to kneel down.
"Mommy," one of the little boys says. Gladys looks at him for a moment and then back at the tv.
"Hey," Jug says to them quietly and squats down in front of them, "What if Jellybean takes you upstairs to play, huh?" he asks them.
They look back at their mom for a moment, but then nod. Jelly sighs and gets up slowly. She takes the boys upstairs before looking at her mom sadly.
I press play. The thunder, my crying, Collin comes, he shows me the moon, the steps. The woman.
"That's you," I say quietly.
She keeps looking at the screen with a little smile. I wanna puke.
The gunshot. She runs out. My screaming and crying. Collin's blood. The bracelet.
"Do you still have that?" she sneers at me after it's over. Jug punches her in the face and she gets taken back from that.
She looks at Jug with sad eyes. "You fucking piece of shit," Jug basically spits on her.
Jason and Cheryl are holding back Chic from coming here and killing her. Dad is squeezing her wrists together and I see the tears in his eyes.
Gladys' eyes go on me. I'm crying. She sneers. "You still look the same. Crying face, too tanned, fa-"
Jug punches her again, "SHUT UP!"
She is so bloody and so is Jug's hand. "Why do you care?" she laughs.
"I'm not going to explain myself to you. You fucking murderer, why are you here?" he asks furiously as I'm only crying harder, but still without any voice.
"She was hoping to.." dad looks at me, "Get to you again."
"What have I ever done to you?" I cry.
