"Hey, Patton?" Logan started. They'd been sitting together in homeroom for a few minutes. Neither had anything to talk about.

"Yeah, Logan? What's on your mind?" Patton asked in reply, smile shining brightly.

Logan subconsciously grinned to himself. "I was just..." What had he been about to say? He'd entirely forgotten. Oh well, he'd better improvise. "Well, I suppose I... do you think we could... um... well, you know," he muttered. So much for improvising.

"We could hang out at some point," Patton interrupted him. "D'you want to see a movie on Saturday?"

Logan was a bit shocked, but managed to nod and say, "Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Let's... movie on Saturday." Patton giggled and gave him another hug. Logan was almost definitely redder than a tomato, but he was still ridiculously happy. Then a thought occurred to him. "We should probably exchange numbers. You know, so that we can plan. And things."

"Good point," Patton laughed, and they put their numbers into each others' phones. "You know what, Lo?" Patton said.

"Yes, Patton?" Logan asked.

"I'm really glad I met you. You're really easy to talk to," he smiled.

"Am I?" Logan smiled back. Just then, the bell rang for homeroom to end. They got up and went their separate ways, but not before Patton hugged him. Again.

"...and I am positive that you would look great with rainbow hair," Roman muttered, studying his boyfriend for his art project.

"Maybe. But I would never dye it full rainbow," Virgil, working on his sketch of Roman. "You can draw me with rainbow hair if you want, though."

"If it's good enough in the picture, will you consider it in real life?" Roman asked hopefully.

"Nope. But I'm curious as to what you're gonna do with that, so go for it," The emo nightmare smirked.

They didn't talk for a little while after that, mostly just staring at each other for a few seconds and then going back to their drawings, and occasionally laughing at how stupid they probably both looked.

All in all, it was a pretty good day right up until the bus. Because naturally, that's where things always go wrong.

Well, that makes it seem like it was horrible. One could argue that all interaction with Deceit was horrible, but it wasn't like Virgil was in danger of being hurt.

Remy was already passed out in the same seat he'd been in in the morning, and if Virgil didn't know any better, he'd think that the kid hadn't gotten up since they'd gotten on that morning.

He sat down next to Roman, who put an arm across his shoulders. Virgil smiled and leaned his head against Roman. Dang, he was warm and hot. Patton would be proud of him if he'd said that aloud.

"Aren't you two cute?" Virgil heard from the seat across the aisle from his.

"Screw off, Deceit," he mumbled, not looking up and just wrapping his arms around Roman, pulling him closer.

"No. I think I'll just sit right here and continue being a pain in your neck," the slimy boi replied.

Virgil still couldn't see him, and wasn't in a hurry to even glance. He just sighed and said, "If you must."

"I mean, he could leave..." Roman pointed out, glaring at Deceit.

"So could you," De replied to that.

"Now see, even if I wanted to, I'm sort of stuck underneath my boyfriend. So if you would politely screw off, that would be great," he said icily.
