"I-I I was having a night terror."

"In the day? While you were awake?"

"Uh.. yea?"

Just then, the bell buzzes and I speed out of the classroom and down the hall, towards the bathroom. My usual breakdown place. As I push open the door and see spiders all over the ground. Was this real? Or maybe I was finally going insane at age 16.

Where the hades did they even find all of these spiders?

My knees instantly buckle, and I hit the ground feeling helpless.

I slowly start to come to, but I can't move. I hear someone approaching the door, and I thought it was Percy. Then reality seems to slap me across the face and says Really?

The door swings open, and the sound of the click-clack from Brittany heels rings in my head.

"Well well, somebody left trash on the floor."

I don't have the energy to talk. I can't even defend myself verbally.

"Looks like your little heroic boyfriend can't save you now."

That one felt like a jab to the chest. After all Percy had done, he was DEFINITELY a hero.

"Poor Annaloser, sprawled on the dirty bathroom floor."

That was it. She won't taunt me anymore.

I spring to my feet, even though I had no idea where the energy came from. I quickly sweep her off her feet, and she starts to fall to the ground. But I catch her by her wrist, with her head only a few inches away from the ground. I was about to ninja-flip her and knock her out, then I saw a familiar look on her face. It was a face I had made before, feeling helpless and at the mercy at somebody else. Even I couldn't do that to Brittany.

I release her from my grip, and she topples to the ground obviously off balance because of her heels.

"Don't ever talk to me again, because you know I could do worse."

With that, I give her a death stare and walk with my head held high out if the bathroom.

I grab a duffle bag full of towels and shower supplies, and head there. When I arrive I set the bag on the bench by my shower, and hop right in. The steamy hot water instantly calms my nerves, and soon I start singing a soft melody. Well, it started soft. Then I started jamming full out into my hairbrush. When I finish the song, I hear applause. What!? I felt so embarrassed, nobody ever heard me sing. My cheeks felt as hot as the water. I let out a quick squeal, and I realize it's Percy.

"What are you doing here?!" I try to keep it cool, but it's hard not to yell when you have a loud shower going. I peek just my head through the curtain to I can meet his eyes.

"I love hearing you sing. It's so natural, so beautiful. It makes me feel, almost normal. I come here everytime you sing."

I smile, then kiss him through the curtain with my embarrassment faded away. It didn't even bother me that he was in here every time I showered. And with confidence, I say

"Any song requests?"
