The vision slowly starts to come back to my eyes, and see the giant outline of a figure looming over me.
"Blonde girl is awake!" I hear Tyson yell to the other room.
I hear pounding footsteps, almost angry foot steps. Then I see my dad and worried brothers.
"Thank goodness you're okay."
"What happened?" I say groggily.
"The dracnaenae almost killed you. Tyson saved you, then we brought you in here." He says, the worry in his eyes starts to loosen a bit.
"You were out for a solid 3 days. Your mother and I were worried."
"Wow." those were my only words. I can't believe I had lost another fight and had to rely on someone to save me AGAIN. maybe the nightmares were starting to catch up, or maybe I was just out of practice. Eventually I drifted to sleep, felt someone drape a woven blanket over me.
Finally, I wake up and get dressed. I trudge to my bedroom and slip on a CHB orange t-shirt and some cutoffs. My dad had made blue pancakes, and my heart ached for Percy.
"Afternoon, lazy." My stepmother says, piling some pancakes on my plate.
My brothers plop on my lap, and hug me half to death.
"We were worried!" Dylan says.
"I'm fine." I say and smile, while eating blue pancakes.
