I had never really dreaded going to school. Until now.

I drag myself out of bed, wishing school would be over already. All I wanted was for this to end, go back to CHB and enjoy a whole summer with my Seaweed Brain.

I jump down from my top bunk with a thud, not even bothering with the ladder. It barely jolts Percy, he just rolls over and snores with a cute little crinkle in his nose.

I smile to myself, and give him a quick peck on the forehead.

Before school today, me and the girls were planning for our Christmas get together. Because, let's admit it, if the guys got together to plan this, we could all find them passed out from diet coke in the courtyard.

I slip on a blue sweater with zigzags that my stepmother had made me. When she was attempting to me nice, she had gotten into making sweaters.
Now my closet is almost full of them.

My hair wasn't cooperative today. Well, it never really was to be fair. But usually I could at least restrain it. I yank it up into a messy bun at the top of my head, with little baby hairs raining down. I find my favorite black leggings, grab my UGGS and head for the door.

I reach for my keys to the dorm door and get my scarf and earmuff matching set and put them on.

I open the door carefully and slowly, so I don't wake up the boys. I close it behind me.

As I lock the door, I look around the hallway making sure no one was there. It was all clear.

Suddenly I felt like a spy with my scarf pulled over my mouth and being stealthy. And I think I would be a pretty decent spy too. I smirk under my scarf.

I walk down the hallway with my plush boots making soft scruffing noises in the hallway.

I reach the end of the hallway in the dorms in the west wing, and glance at my watch. 6:15. I had to hurry, I was going to be there at 6:30. I grab for the doorknob and pull it open, until it creaks slowly open with a defeated groan.

A blast of cold air hits me in the face, going through the holes in my delicately knitted sweater. I trudge outside, and have to shove the iced door behind me shut.

I cling to the railing walking down, completely aware of the icy steps beneath me. A few times I start to slip, then wish Percy was here to catch me.

Then I remember he was sleeping.
Stupid Seaweed Brain. I smile in spite of myself and walk around the campus to the east wing dorms door, with my breath coming out in puffs of white mist before me.

I see Piper bundled to the bone holding the door open because it was obviously frozen through.

"Hurry up before I freeze to death over here!" Piper yells, and I pick up my pace pulling my arms inside my sweater, close to my body to keep warm faster. I should have grabbed a coat.

I grin at Piper who is visibly shivering through probably 5 shirts, 3 coats, most likely 7 pairs of socks, IF I had to estimate. She really doesn't like the cold.

I reach the steps, and grip the railing as I walk up. I greet Piper with a hug at the top.

"Warm enough?" I smirk.

"Shut up Chase." She murmurs and walks inside. I follow her to her down where Hazel is waiting on a top bunk sketching something in her art boom. Always on time.

"Okay. Now that we are all here, time to start planning. I took it upon myself to tell the Principal that we were using the observatory, so that's planned." Piper says pridefully and smiles because she probably used Charmspeak. I honestly didn't care.
Hazel puts down her sketchbook and climbs down the stairs.

"I can take care of the decor." Hazel declares.

"As long as it's not Franks creepy china dolls." Piper says in horror

"Fine. But he's going to be upset about that." Hazel said visibly annoyed, because Frank was big on traditions.

"Ok so that's taken care of. I'll take care of the food. Seems like the simplest thing to do." Piper sits down in a spinning chair and appears bored.

"I can overlook everything and plan activities." I shrug, because it was kinda a given. Child of Athena and all....

*********=^.^=********

A few hours later, we had everything drawn out and Hazel was almost done with the decor. Leave it to that girl to really get work done.

I had everything mapped out, activities and such. Piper had a list of food and drinks to get from our local store.

"So much work." She complained and I laughed.

"It's not funny!" Piper flushed red, then started laughing too.

I leave with all the plans, and Hazel stored her decorations in her closet, hoping her weird roommate won't see. Don't even get me started on Hazel's roommate. 0.0

I leave with my plans in hand, and head back to my dorm.
