leaving us all wondering why.
Why did the good die young?
Why did you leave so soon?
My soul is empty,
now you're gone.
My mind wonders,
why you aren't near.
Is there something I could have done?
Maybe not-
but how will I ever know?

I lose my mind,
wishing you were near.
I stand defeated,
as your memory fades.
Where did you go?
Was I not good enough!?
I love and miss you-

My heart aches,
with the loss of your touch.
My dreams are alive,
when I dream of you.
The selfishness is clear-
how could you think that way,
didn't you ever think of me?
Why did you leave so soon?
Gone, not forgiven.
Lost, not found.
I want to forgive and find,
But I can't.
You're a jerk!
you didn't know that-
I thought I was good enough...

longing for you to stay.
A memory held dear,
until we reunite.
I wanted to say goodbye
but you left
before I had the chance.
