I believe in a new day-
The day before remains,
but there is a new day
A new day with new people
A new day with God at my side.
He has not forgotten,
even when I feel it.
He sees me,
even when I am invisible.
A new day will wipe away,
all that has come before.
A new day will come,
with all new possibilities.
A new day means...
You are not beaten yet.
I have not been forgotten,
Even when I feel it.
I am seen,
I am loved,
I am wanted.
I look for the new day,
the good it might bring.
I look past the old day,
the darkness it brought.
I look to the future,
all that can be.
