It was the night Nat's Halloween party Frankie dressed up as a sailor and walked down to the party since Nat's house was two houses down from her house. She was getting a slice of pizza when Bucky came in and he saw her. He walked over to her and said "Hey Frankie are you ready to talk to me." and she walked away.
He sighed and whispered "You look beautiful."
He grabbed some pizza and a drink then went out back and sat at the picnic table. Steve came out and said "Hey man."
"Hey." he said
Steve sat down and said "Where's Courtney?'
"Oh we broke up last weekend " he said
"Oh..I"m sorry that sucks." Steve said.
After awhile most the guests went home except their group. Nat said "Let's play games."
They all sat down in the floor Frankie sat down next to Wanda away from Bucky. Nat said "Spin the bottle with a twist you take the kiss to the closet."
"Then I'm out." Frankie said as she went to get another cupcake.
"Frankie come on." Nat said
"Nope I am not playing this game." she said as she ate another cupcake.
"Just play we won't make you go to the closet." Nat said
"Rules are rules" Bucky said
Frankie rolled her eyes and said "Fine" and sat down and spun the bottle and said "Happy now."
Then the bottle stopped spinning and landed on Bucky. "I want another spin." she said with tears in her eyes."Rules are rules" Bucky said
"No I .." she said
Bucky helped her out of the floor and dragged her. She looked down once they got in the closet and he lifted her chin. "Don't just stay in here long enough to make it seem like you made out." she said
"Frankie.." he said
"No cause no matter what it won't mean anything to you. And I won't let you ruin my first kiss. It's not like you kissing me is going to make you magically fall in love with me." she said
He looked down and said "Frankie I'm sorry that I don't feel the same way about you. But please don't act like this with me."
She moved away and sat down against the wall. He sat down beside her and he said "How would I ruin your first kiss if I kissed you."
"Because you don't love me." she said
"But I do love you just not the way you want me to." he said as he made her look at him.
"Buck don't please." she said
He kissed her lips pulled away and then leaned back in. He kissed her again she started to kiss back just as he rolled his tongue into her mouth. Then he made her lay down and he moaned. He felt himself growing hard with each kiss and he stopped and said "Frankie we gotta stop."
"Why?' she said
"Cause I will not take your virginity. I was getting to excited I had to stop." he said
"Oh.." she said as she went to get up.
"Frankie." he said
"No don't worry about it. I have to remember I'm not what you want in a girlfriend." she said
"Frankie.. please stop acting like this." he said as he stood in front of her.
"Is there something wrong with me? Am I not pretty enough for anybody." she said as she walked out.
He walked out after her and she said 'Nat I'm gonna go home."
"Frankie" Bucky said
She pulled on her coat and walked out the door and he ran after yelling her name. She tripped over the crack in the side walk and he ran to side "Frankie baby doll look at me I'm sorry I won't be that guy to you. I won't be guy that takes it even though he doesn't love you. You deserve that you deserve to lose it to someone that loves you wholeheartedly darlin please listen to me."
She pushed him away and said "Leave me alone don't ever speak to me again."
"Frankie.." he said as he started to cry.
She walked home and cried herself to sleep that night. The following Monday he saw her at her locker she got her books but she didn't put her cheer bag in it and he followed her all the way to the gym to the cheer coach's office and she turned in her cheer uniform. She walked out and almost ran into him.
"What are you doing? You look cheer." he said
"I don't want anything to do with you." she said
"Frankie stop go back in there and tell her you changed your mind." he said
"No.." she said as she walked away.
That night he came over to her house and Sadie said "She's in the hammock."
He went out back and laid beside her. He looked at her and said "What is going on with you?'
"I just wish that someone could see me as more than just the best friend." she said
She looked over at him and said "Well maybe not turning in your cheer uniform."
" I don't want to be a cheerleader anymore." she said as she cut him off.
"What do you want Frankie to lose it to some one that doesn't love you. You want it to mean nothing." he said
She sighed and said "Just let it go okay." as she got up and he caught her wrist. "Come over." he said
"No.. I don't need you." she said as she unlocked the gate and said "Go home.. never come back over again."
"Frankie.." he said
"No.. we are no longer friends. I love you but you don't love me back and I refuse to continue to get my heart broken watching you date other girls." she said
He kissed her forehead and said "I'm here if you ever decide that you need me." and he left and walked back next door to his house.
