(15) "Now's Your Chance Bucky."

A month after everyone yelled at her Lucas proposed to her and she said yes. The night she told the girls Natasha was done hiding things. She drove over with everyone in tow to Bucky's apartment. She knocked on the door and he said "Um hello.. did I miss a text about hanging out." 

"No but we need to talk to you. It concerns Frankie" she said 

"Frankie.." he said 

"Yeah Frankie." she said 

"Okay well um come in beer is in the fridge and so is water." he said 

Bucky opened a beer and Nat said "Okay everyone now is the time that you may hate me and the girls but I don't care right now we need your help." 

"What's going on" Steve said 

"The reason why Deacon and Frankie ended was because Frankie got pregnant Deacon didn't want to be involved so she broke up with him. She had a daughter that she named Kamryn Morgan Bowling she's 8 now. She called us the day she had her and told us to not tell you all cause they knew you would tell him." Wanda said 

Bucky sat his beer on his counter top and he said "Okay.. what else do you need to tell me" 

"She's here in Macon she's been living here with her mom. That Kia Sorento that you see in her mom's driveway that's her Bucky. She traded in her jeep after she had Kamryn I did what I had to do to get her so I lied to her. She's working as a ICU nurse at the hospital I told her you would never see her so she would leave North Carolina and come home. But now we have a problem..she met some resident doctor she's losing it. She met him 4 months ago we thought we had gotten through to her when she wanted to move in with him but apparently not now they are engaged. They are planning the wedding for January that's in two months." Nat said 

Bucky had his back to everyone and he started to cry and he threw his beer bottle against the wall and it shattered. "You lied to me for months now you knew she was here in town. How could you lie to me and now i'm screwed." he yelled 

Sam said "Buck.." 

"No I love her and she's screwing around I know what she's doing. She hates being alone she's always been that way. I'm honestly surprised she made it through college without dating. " he said 

"Bucky.. I know you are mad but if I told you anything up till now you would be in her face. You would have drove up to North Carolina." Nat said 

"Just go I want to be alone." he said as he went into his bedroom. 

A few days later Natasha went to Sadie. "Sadie I need your help and you are the only person right now that is still speaking to me." Nat said 

"okay honey what is it." Sadie said 

"I want to help you make the guest list for Frankie's wedding there is one person that can put a stop to this madness but he has to be there rather she likes it or not." Nat said 

"Whose that?' Sadie said as she hands her a glass of tea. 

"Bucky.." she said 

"Why him?' Sadie said 

"The day she left for college he realized a moment to late that he is in love with Frankie and he's been waiting patiently for his chance to tell her how he feels. I never told him she was home cause I thought I was being a good friend to her." Nat said 

Sadie smiled at her and said "He can save my baby from making a mistake okay let's get started." 

They started to make out the invitations and she took the ones for their friends and she hand delivered them then showed up at the fire department and said "Bucky I know you are mad but now's your chance Bucky." as she hands him the invitation. 

"Why would you think this is my chance." he said as he opened up the inviation 

"Cause man the minister will say is there anyone here that doesn't think these two should be married speak now or forever hold your peace when he says that you need to stand up Barnes and tell that girl how you feel." Sam said 

He looked at them and Nat said "Better practice your speech cause it's next month cause she moved the date." with a smile.
