(11) Bucky Loses His Scholarship..

-1 year later-

Frankie was doing her homework in the living room of her aunt's house while Kamryn played. She had the UGA vs Florida game on the tv. Just because she wasn't really speaking to any of them but the girls didn't mean she didn't supported the boys. She was watching the game and she said "What the hell James why are you playing so sloppy. This isn't like you at all." as Kamryn tried to pull up her shirt.

"Baby what is it." she said 

"mama mama." she said as she kept trying to pull up Frankie's shirt. 

"Milk baby?' Frankie said as she pulled up her shirt and got her to latch and she winced a little. 

Kamryn was still breastfeeding cause her mom told her it was good to do it up till she's 2 but it was painful cause she had teeth. She watched as Bucky got sacked hard to the ground by two players. She gasped and held her breathe cause he wasn't moving and she whispered "Come on Barnes get up please get up." 

Coach walked out on the field and Bucky still wasn't moving. The announcer said "Now the EMTs are coming out to the field. Looks like Barnes might be out the rest of the game possibly the season cause of how that tackle went down." then they put it on replay three times and she started to cry and said "Oh god his knee and his ribs." 

Her aunt Julie came out and said "What's wrong Frankie?'

"Bucky got hurt bad." she said 

Julie looked at the screen when they replayed it again and she said "Jesus Christ.." 

Then it shows him on the stretcher still unconscious then they got to break and the game goes on like nothing happened. That night after she put Kamryn to bed she watched sportscenter and the announcer said "Well it looks like GA just lost their best quarter back. We got word that James Barnes for the Bulldogs will be out for the rest of the season that tackle he took earlier today was probably the worse tackle that any player could take. He has a few broken ribs and he's blown his knee according to the doctor he's tore his ACL and MCL not to mention the concussion he had as well. It going take Barnes a while to get back to where he was before today." 

She texted Natasha and asked what the doctor said. Natasha left the hospital room and called her from outside the hospital. "Hey." Nat said

"Hey.." she said 

"He's going to have knee surgery to fix his knee and rest till his ribs heal. Right now the coach is trying to figure out what this means for his scholarship cause Bucky only got a full ride for football nothing else. You know how his grades were he only kept his grades average to keep off probation. He said he doesn't care if he loses it or not his heart just isn't into it anymore." Natasha said 

"What is that suppose to mean? He's been playing since he was 5 years old his dream was to go to the NFL." she said 

"I don't know honestly I don't know if he's just tired of playing or what all I know is last season he started to lose interest especially after we played your school." Nat said 

"Nat..can you see the cheerleaders from the field like can you make out faces." she said

"Um I think so.. Steve says he can always see me cause he can tell when I'm on my period and I'm fake smiling why?' Nat said 

"Oh no.. he knows something isn't right cause if he started to lose interest after you all played us then he knows that I'm not cheering here either." she said 

Nat said "Oh no..I was wondering why he's been playing crappy. " 

"Don't tell him I called just keep me updated." she said
