Chapter 23

In the week the followed the premier, Betty and jughead felt like they were on cloud nine. After talking it over both Betty and jughead posted on their Instagram accounts confirming their relationship so it was no longer a secret and Betty didn't have to dodge questions in interviews. Jughead also spent a lot of time at Betty's apartment; because they didn't like not being with each other. Jughead now had spare clothes and toiletries at Betty's and she had stuff at his for whenever they stay over.

One day Betty was working in her office from home; working on the book. Her office was big and spacious with a pink couch and her desk looked out onto the city, Betty loved it. She'd woken up at 6am and carefully climbed out of jugheads arms and went into her office to write. About 7am, jughead walked in and stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and kissing her temple. "Good morning" Betty smiled. "Morning babe. Why are you up so early?" He asked. "Inspiration Hit for my book" she smiled. "Okay, do you want tea or coffee?" He asked. "Can I have tea please?" She said. "Of course I'll be back" he said and kissed her head before leaving.

When he came back he handed her the tea which she accepted with a kiss. He has his own coffee in hand and he walked around her office; he also loved her office, on one wall opposite her couch she had built in shelves, with loads of books. One thing they both shared in common was they both loved reading so jughead was happy to find her book collection. "Do you mind if I sit here and read?" He said, Betty turned and flashed him a smile "of course not, knock yourself out" she giggled and turned back to her computer. After a while betty closed her laptop and turned to her boyfriend. "Babe?" She called and he looked up from his book. "Can we go out for breakfast?" She asked and a massive grin made its way onto his face; this is the first time since he's met her that she actually asked to eat out. "Of course lets get dressed" he smiled and lead her out of the office.

An hour later they were sat in a restaurant that served Brunch. Jughead had waffles with eggs and bacon and Betty had porridge with berries and a side of french toast. "Nice?" Jug asked as they started eating. "Yes thank you is yours?" She smiled and he nodded. Betty grabbed one of his hands over the table and said "I'm so happy we can do this in public now". "Me too baby" he smiled and squeezed her hand. When they finished eating they stood up to leave when some fans recognised Betty and asked for Photos; betty complied with a smile on her face and then took jugheads hand as they left the restaurant. "So what shall we do with the day?" Betty said. "Well I could take you on an adventure?" He said. "An adventure?" She asked. "I like to venture out into woods and nature to take photos... you could come with me?" He said and she beamed. "I'd love too! I have therapy at 2 so you could pick me up and we could go after?" She suggested. "Can't wait" he said and she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
