Chapter 69

Time skip a couple of weeks

"Oh my god! First class is everything I've ever dreamed it to be!" Jellybean squealed. "Well just you wait until you see our private jet" Betty laughed. "I still can't believe you hired the jet" jughead smirked. "Hey it wasn't my idea! Cheryl said we should, I don't always use my celebrity privileges and she said I should for my launch because it's special" Betty said. "I know baby, and you should, you worked hard for this" jug said and kissed her softly. They had all just arrived at the airport, ready to fly to LA. Jellybean and FP were in awe of the vip lounge and jughead was smiling at how well they were fitting in to his and Betty's life. "Okay jelly why don't you go and look at all the food" jug laughed and watched as his dad and sister were enjoying all the perks of the vip lounge. He turned around and saw Betty sat by the widow watching the planes take off; she was wearing her pink matching sweats and she had a pair of sunglasses on her head, her usual airport attire. "Hey you" he said and sat down next to her, his arm coming around her and placing a kiss on her temple. "Hey" she smiled. "What are you thinking about?" He said, giving her a knowing glance. "Just preparing myself for all the chaos that's about to hit when we land" she giggled. Even though he knew she was only joking, he felt the need to reassure her anyway. "Betts, I know it will be busy and probably a little overwhelming but this is a good thing, we're celebrating your achievements, it's amazing" he said and she looked at him with so much love in her eyes. "I know, thank you for always knowing what to say; and I know it's going to be overwhelming so I have a Skype call with my therapist when we get to the hotel and another one tomorrow after the launch so that I can keep level headed" she said. "That's great baby" he smiled. She turned and kissed him before sitting back and enjoying each other's company before they boarded the plane.

"Betty!" "Elizabeth!" "Over here!" "Can you tell us about the book?" "Jughead! How do you feel about Betty's book?!" "Over here!". There were more paparazzis at the airport this time because of the book coming out and Betty hadn't really done any interviews about it, her book tour started after the launch. "Wow thats the first time I've ever been asked a question by the paps" jughead chuckled when they got in the Uber. "Ha! My brothers famous" jellybean teased. When they got the hotel they were staying at, FP and jellybean checked into their rooms then went exploring LA and Betty and jughead went to their room. "So what time do you start glam?" Jughead asked. "Well the launch is at 8 so probably about 5" Betty told him as she sat on the bed. "So we have about 5 hours?" Jug smirked and slowly made his way over to her. "Yes that is correct" she said with a small smirk. "Well then... shall we pass the time?" He said. "I think we should" she smiled and he kissed her passionately, taking her shirt off as he did so...

"Okay Betty we will do your makeup first then hair and then outfit" Josie said when her, Val and Veronica made their way into Betty and jugheads hotel room to start getting Betty ready for the launch. "So Where's lover boy?" Veronica asked as Josie started to do her makeup. "Erm... he's in the shower" Betty blushed. "Oh my god! You two totally did it before we came!" Veronica squealed. "Shut up! I won't confirm or deny" Betty smirked and the girls all giggled. Just then, jughead came out the bathroom, freshly showered and in some sweats. "Oh here he is" Josie laughed and jughead just flashed Betty a smirk and flopped down onto the bed and started scrolling on his phone. "Juggie! You can't just sit there! You have to start getting ready!" Betty scolded. "Babe, I'm a guy, it will take me five minutes to get ready" Jug said and laughed when Betty groaned. "Lucky" she mumbled. "Hey! Are you saying you hate this" Val said and gestured to the girls and all their glam kit. "Of course not I love you all but I wish it only took five minutes to get ready" Betty grinned. "Well I'm sorry it takes you longer but can I get you anything?" Jug asked and stood up. "Please can I have a green tea?" Betty asked. "Of Course betts" he smiled and kissed her softly "hey! You can't kiss her when she has lipstick on" Josie said. "Well she doesn't have lipstick on yet" jug smirked and kissed Betty's lips again. "Okay I'll go and get your tea now... girls do you want anything?" Jug asked. "Three lattes please" Veronica smiled. "You got it, be back in a bit" Jug said and left the hotel room. "Where can I find a boyfriend like jughead?" Val teased. "I know! I'm so jealous" Josie added. "Sorry ladies, he's mine" Betty giggled.

A couple of hours later Betty was finally dressed and ready. The other girls had started getting their outfits on and doing their hair and makeup with Cheryl so Betty went to the room where the boys were. "Oh my god B! You are so stunning!" Kevin said when he opened to door. "Thanks Kev" Betty smiled and hugged her best friend. "Betts, looking good" Reggie said, also coming to hug her. "You too and you arch" Betty smiled. "Thanks B!" Archie grinned, hugging her. "Where's Jug?" Betty asked. "Right here" Jug said from behind her and when she spun around she saw him in the door way. "Wow" he said, looking at her in awe. "You look amazing!" Jug said and made his way over to her and placed his hands on her waist. "You're so handsome juggie" Betty grinned. "I'm so lucky" he whispered as he rested his forehead on hers. "Me too. I love you" she said softly. "I love you too and I'm so proud of you" he smiled and planted a soft kiss on her lips, careful not to smudge her makeup. "Now come on betts, let's go celebrate" he grinned.
