Chapter 82

"Okay So we are all set, this venue is secured for the date you want it" the lady told jughead and Betty as they were viewing the wedding venue. "That's great!" Betty grinned. They had decided on a beautiful hotel, an hour Outside of New York which had beautiful views and gardens and a separate venue from the hotel; a modern barn with fairy lights where they will be having their wedding. "And is the hotel available for all our guests?" Jughead asked. "Yes! And we have the honeymoon suite ready for you guys and we can decide on menus and that now because we have catering" the lady, Michelle who owns the hotel says. "Okay" Betty smiled. The three of them made their way into an small office where they finalised all the details. "Okay So we will do the wedding lunch and then appetisers on the evening" Michelle started. "And then will you be wanting a wedding breakfast the morning after with all your guests?" She asked. "Yes please" betty and jughead said. "Okay great! And have you decided on your main course at the wedding?" Michelle asked; she'd sent them a list of all the options for food the week before and they had chosen everything apart from the main course. "Yes we will have the chicken please and for the vegan and vegetarian meal we will have the vegan pasta" jughead informed her and she nodded and wrote it all down. "Okay then, it's all sorted for you, If you have any questions you can always ring and closer to the date you can come back to sort out the seating and decor" Michelle smiles. "Thank you so much" Betty said as they stood up. "Thank you" Jug said. Betty and jughead left the Venue and got back into jugheads jeep. "I'm so glad that we've sorted that out" Betty sighed in relief. "'Me too! We haven't got much to sort out now" he smiled as he started the car. "So we have a free day, what shall we do?" He asked, his hand coming to rest on her thigh as he drove. "Well I kind of need to get a few bits, like clothes as it's summer now and I need some new ones and we need some Groceries" Betty said. "So shall we have a shopping day?" He asked and she nodded. "Yeah, we'll go to the mall by the apartment because people are used to seeing me there so it won't be a media frenzy and then we'll get groceries after" Betty said and he nodded.

"Okay, What about this one?" Betty asked, coming out of the changing Room in a white summer dress with tiny flowers on. "You look beautiful" Jug smiled, from where he was sat on a chair. "Juggie! You said that about the last four!" Betty huffed. "Yes... and you looked beautiful in all of them" he smiled at her and Betty blushed. "Okay I'm just going to try these skirts and tops on then I'm done, sorry for taking so long" she said as she went back into the changing room. "Don't apologise betts, I don't mind" he told her. It was quiet for a moment and jughead couldn't hear Betty getting dressed. "You Okay?" He asked. "I can't get the zip down" Betty exclaimed. "Want me to help?" He questioned, already standing up. "Yes please!" She said and he opened the door and stood behind her. He helped to undo the zip and pulled the dress down, his eyes meeting hers in the mirror. "You're gorgeous" he said softly, smiling as the Familiar pink blush spread across her cheeks. "Thank you" she whispered. "I'll wait outside" he said and kissed her temple before leaving the changing room. After a while Betty came out, all the clothes in her hand. "Are you going to buy them?" Jug asked, taking them off her and carrying them for her. "I don't know..." Betty said unsure. Jughead could see how she was hesitant to buy them, she still had her insecurities but jughead didn't want that to stop her. "You look amazing in all of them and you said you needed some new summer clothes" he said and she nodded. "You're right! I'll get them" she said and Reached up to kiss his cheek.

"So, I need to go and get some girly things like makeup and that but is there anywhere you want to go first?" She asked, one hand holding his and the other holding her bag of clothes; even though jughead insisted on carrying it for her. "Actually Yeah can we go to the camera shop?" He asked. "Of course!" Betty chirped and they walked in the direction of the camera store. Jughead was looking at different camera equipment while Betty was browsing the smaller cameras. Jughead looked over at her and saw her looking at all of them and walked over to her, placing a hand on the small of her back. "What you looking at babe?" He asked. "I was thinking of maybe getting a camera" she told him. "I have my Polaroid but apart from that I don't have a camera and take all my photos on my phone" she said. "I think you should get one" jug smiled, excited that she wanted a camera, something he was so passionate about. "Which one?" She asked confused, slightly overwhelmed by all the choice. "I'll help you" he said and grabbed her hand. Half an hour later jughead had chosen a camera for Betty and they were making their way to the drugstore. "What are you looking for betts?" Jug asked. "I need makeup remover, a new mascara and Erm..." she trailed off. "What betts?" Jug asked. "Tampons" she whispered. "Honey" Jug laughed. "You don't need to be embarrassed" he chuckled and pulled her into his side as she shopped for all the stuff she needed.

"God I'm exhausted after all of that" Betty sighed and collapsed onto the couch when they got back to the apartment. Jughead laughed at her as she pulled the blanket from the back of the couch over her and snuggled up. "Do you want anything to eat betts?" Jug asked, walking into the kitchen. "No thanks" he heard her mumble and grinned to himself. He made himself a coffee and grabbed some popcorn before heading back to the couch. He saw Betty had fallen asleep and gently moved her so he could sit down and his heart almost burst when she cuddled up into his legs, still sleeping. "Goodnight sleeping beauty" jug whispered and kissed her head.
