I couldn't believe that moron right now. Of all the dumb things he's done this is probably at the top of the list. "Why would he think it was a good idea to go out on his own like that?" An emotion I wasn't familiar with surfaced, one that filled me with anxiety. "Ugh, this is so annoying." I flopped onto my bed. "Why should I care what happens to that idiot?" I said out loud, I was about to rant to myself more but I heard a knock at the door.

"Sen?" I said out of instinct. "Sister, can I come in and talk to you?" I heard Fubuki from the other side of the door. She was probably going to scold me for not going to help Sen. I wasn't going to have any of it. "Go away." I said, hoping that would be the end of it.

Sadly that wasn't the case. I once again heard Fubuki's voice. "Sister, we haven't had a real heart to heart in so long. And I think it's about time that we do." I became frustrated with her and floated over to the door. "Didn't I tell you to get lost?" I said, raising my voice.

"Sister please, just talk to me." She whined from the other side. I sighed and made the decision to just ignore her, she would go away eventually. A moment or two passed and I was certain that she had left. That was until, once again, I heard her voice.

"It's a shame sister, if you would talk to me I would give you something I know that you would want." I laughed to myself. "Right, like she could have anything that I would want." Her voice became mocking in nature as she continued to talk. "Oh it's a shame really. I had these two candy apples and I wanted to share one with you. But, I guess I'll just throw the extra one away."

I drooled from my mouth slightly at the mention of a candy apple. "Damn her..." I said as I went back to the door and opened it up. She smiled at me and handed me the treat. "You get ten minutes..." I told her, biting into the food.

Fubuki walked in and closed the door behind her, leaning up against it. "Sister, I want to know why you're so against helping the association with this crisis." She said frankly. I finished chewing and looked to Fubuki, taking my eyes off of the apple. "Really? That's your question? You know better than anyone that I only do this hero work for the money. I get the donated money every month regardless of my performance. The association can't afford to get rid of me because when I do help I take care of issues in no time flat." I floated onto my back and continued to eat.

"But don't you want to do something more? Be more than what you are? Sen is out there right now risking his life to save those in need." She berated me. "Even if you don't care about the people that could get hurt I would have expected you to at least go with Sen." That struck a cord with me. "And why should I care if Sen goes or not?" I said, flipping over. "That moron has been nothing but a thorn in my side since we met him. If he dies out there then that just clears up one of the things annoying me."

Fubuki looked at me with a hurt expression. "You don't really think that, there's no way that you do. Sen has been nothing but nice to us since he's moved in." She got closer to me. "If you really hate him after everything he's done for you then you're worse than the people you claim to despise. Those who only take and never give back." I was growing more annoyed, and the candy apple wasn't helping me calm down.

"He really has poisoned your mind, hasn't he? Planted little seeds of doubt in your head about what I've taught you. Even then, do you not remember what we went through. How we were treated, how we're still treated?" I could feel myself losing control of my powers. I calmed myself and looked to my sister. "Sen is the worst of the bunch, not only is he stupid, but he is selfish." I said the second part without thinking.

"Selfish? In what way is Sen selfish? Sister, I hate to say it but you're the only one being selfish here. Because of your own pride you refuse to help no one unless it benefits you." She stopped and looked to the side, frustration written plainly on her face. "If he's so selfish then would he have brought you back and help nurse your wound?" She asked, cornering me.
